Events at Prashanthi Nilayam - 05 JUL 2004

 

Swami came to Sai Kulwant Hall at 6:35 a.m. After going round the

devotees in the gents side also, the buggy took a u turn near the

interview room and drove through the verandah and turned into the

lobby. Swami spoke to few devotees who were sitting near the sofa

and at 6:50 a.m., the buggy went towards the interview room and

stopped. Swami got down and picked up a family for interview and the

Veda chanting stopped at 7:00 a.m. when the interview room door was

closed. Bhajans were held from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

 

In the afternoon, Swami came at 3:20 p.m. The buggy drove to the

lobby after going round the gents side also and Swami sat on His

sofa at 3:35 p.m. At 3:40 p.m., the SSE children of Region 9, USA

(Arizona, Colarado, New Mexico) presented a drama entitled "Bloom

where you are placed". The play presented examples of American heros

who lived according to higher principles and values in service to

their fellow men. The first American to be presented was a lady

named Sojourner Truth. Though she was born a slave, she freed

herself and and made it her life work to lead many other slaves also

to freedom from slavery. The second was about how Abraham Lincoln

rose to become Prsident of USA. The third was Eleanor Roosewelt, who

worked for the upliftment of the working class. The play was over at

4:20 p.m. and there was a brief photograph session and Swami left at

4:40 p.m. after Mangala Aarathi.

Events at Prashanthi Nilayam - 06 JUL 2004

 

Swami came to Sai Kulwant Hall at 8:20 a.m. and drove straight

towards the interview room and got down there and went inside the

room. Bhajans were started at 9:00 a.m. and Mangala Aarathi was

performed at 9:30 a.m.

 

In the afternoon, Swami came at 4:00 p.m. After going round the

gents side also, He got down near the interview room and called a

few devotees for interview. A group of Boys from Canada were allowed

to sit in the Bhajan Hall and sing from 5:20 p.m. to 5:50 p.m. in

front of Swami. Mangala Aarathi was performed at 5:50 p.m. and Swami

left Sai Kulwant Hall.

Events at Prashanthi Nilayam - 07 JUL 2004

 

This morning Swami came at 8:20 a.m. He got down from the Buggy in

front of the lobby and climbed up. He walked towards the interview

room and turned and walked among the devotees in the veranda

distributing Vibhuthi packets Himself to many devotees. At 8:50 a.m.

He went into the room and the Veda Chanting stopped. Bhajans were

held from 9:00 a.m to 9:30 a.m.

 

In the afternoon, He came at 4:00 p.m. and the buggy drove straight

through the gents side and after taking a turn, drove in front of

the lobby and towards the interview room. Then the buggy arrived in

the lobby and Swami got down in the lobby and sat on the sofa at

4:10 p.m. After 10 minutes, He got up and walked towards the

interview room. On the way He picked up a few devotees for interview

and went into His room at 4:30 p.m. Bhajans started at 5:00 p.m. and

Mangala Aarathi was performed at 5:30 p.m. when Swami left for

Poornachandra Hall.
