Re: [saibabanews] Sometimes Baba asks...

this is neither heard nor known to me

but hidu mythology says

wife is 50% our own body

you dont distinguish right side from left side

both are in perfect harmony and

by reflex both act together

same logic applicable

not the physical form of persons

if you extend this logic

not only wife, but children and kith andkin

also will be part and parcel of our previous

births , hence the social conglomeration

and living together with perfect

understanding, accomodation, compromise

is essential for our own survival

Re: [saibabanews] Sometimes Baba asks...

Sai Ram Sister,

I never heard of this. Many a times, with the Madhura Bhakti, lot

of "female" , young devotees called themselves and declared in the

interview room as Swami as their " Husband'. Swami immediately

corrected them as God as the Mother and the Father. I never heard of

this!!

According to Swami, Wife is Worry Invited For Ever or Wisdom

Invited For Ever.

Sai Ram, I hope this helps you.

aum sri sairam , dear brothers and sisters , I have read some books

on baba, and have heard him speak , and have heard others direct

experiences, but never heard or read anywhere that baba sometimes

asks his devotees to be his............for me baba is full of love

compassion and kindness, he loves all of us , whether we believe in

him or not, he loves the whole world, he is real god for me. As a

hindu wife ,we are told to follow the footsteps of our husband and

to do our duty as a devoted wife to our husband to share all the

sorrows and joys of life , never to forsake our husband under any

circumstances, to be honest , if that is what it means then baba

wants true devotion from a devotee as a trued devoted INDIAN WIFE

AND NOTHING ELSE .These are my thoughts from my own experience ,

can anyone clear this doubt from the mind of the person , a devotee

who has asked for the clarification of the statement for the

benefit of all the sai devotees .

sai ram,

Swami says each soul is married to God. hence even widows can perform

all rites/pujas.

I have also read this in a couple of books..

one is "Life is a Game, Play it" by here is an extract from it..

Sathya Sai Vahini pg 87,88

"The Truth about duality - the jivatma (individual soul) and the

Paramatma (Oversoul) relationship - is as the wife-husband

relationship. the full, free Supreme Vishnu is the husband, the

master, the Lord, the ruler, the provider; the individual is the

ruled, the dependent, the wife."

The author further writes her own experience and how she had a

beautiful vision in which she saw Baba's face smiling at her and then

gradually fading into husband's face.

"the words which filtered out of this experience seemed to come

directly from the higher self:

'when u look at your husband, see Me. trust Me to provide your every

need through your husband. consider your husband as God. worship Him,

minister to him, and follow his desires for the fulfillment of your

duty. Nourish and increase your humility and your adoration of your

husband. this is the reason you incarnated as a woman. your

accomplishment of this task will bring u much nearer your goal of

liberation.'"

Swami gives different experiences to each individual depending on his

needs To some people Swami is like a Father, to some Mother, to some a

friend...for Meera He was Husband, for Radha...Lover

hope to hear more from other members...

My Pranams to you all.

Assuming that Bhagavan Baba has spoken to a devotee of the relation

Paramatma-Jivatma in terms of the relation housband-wife, this is to

illustrate the relation between God and the individual according to

the Dwaitha Upasana (Dualism).

In Sathya Sai Vahini, Baba explains all the Upasanas or Sadhanas.

Baba illustrates the Dwaithopasana (Dualism) as follows:

"The Upasana of Dwaitha - the Jivatma and the Paramatma relationship

is as wife-husband relationship. The Full Free Supreme Vishnu is the

husband, the master, the lord, the ruler, the provider; the

individual is the ruled, the dependent, the wife. This method of

Sadhana has been taught by Madhwacharya. Without devoted attachment

to the Lotus Feet of the Lord, that is to say, without Bhakthi,

liberation from the cycle of Samsara, why even purity of intellect

and emotions, is impossible of attainment. For those who have the

spring of ecstatic devotion to the Presence of the Lord within them,

though they may not have any texts to ponder over, the very

contemplation of the Beauty, Grace and Power of the Lord will give

them bliss of superconscious Bhakthi. One cannot discover what

prompts the experience. In that ecstatic mood, they discard all

sense of shame and personality, and yearn to become the beloved of

God, in blissful Union. They will then dance and sing aloud and be

merged in genuine joy and Ananda. Sadhana in conformity with this

faith has been laid down by Madhwacharya. The agony of the lover to

attain the beloved is the true sign of Dwaithopasana. This has been

elaborated in a thousand ways by others who came after." [...]

"Dwaithopasana (Dualism): The Dualistic outlook on the relationship

between God and the individual is that of husband and wife. Vishnu,

the Lord, the ever-free, ever-full, has to be adored as the wife

adores the husband. Among such sadhakas, Chaithanya is most

noteworthy. He established a distinct Chaithanyopasana itself.

Without the anguished yearning for the Feet of Lord Krishna

liberation cannot be gained. Why? Even purification of one's

intelligence is not possible without that yearning. This is the

assertion of Chaithanya. He declares that sages and others capable

of being immersed in inner bliss can enjoy the ecstasy of the

supreme consciousness through the contemplation of the auspicious,

restorative and cleansing attributes of the Lord, Sri Hari. No text

or scripture is needed for one to realise this bliss. Sunk in the

waves of that Divine ecstasy, the person ignores all the norms of

social behaviour and escapes from all conventions; he sings aloud

the names of Hari, sheds streams of joy, dances in divine delight

and experiences unadulterated genuine bliss. He feels that the

Lord's Feet have made every inch of ground holy. Thus they sing the

glory of the Lord fully attuned to Him. This Sadhana was emphasised,

as the easiest and most fruitful, by Chaithanya. His foremost goal

was to attain the absence of body-consciousness in the flood of

ecstasy that surges from melodious group-singing of the majesty and

mercy of the Lord."

In Jack Hislops book, page 124, there is a conversation about all humans

being females and that God is the only male.
