you can chant which ever mantra you like the most. But

once you fix one, do not change it. All names are Sai

Rama's. But continuous chanting with concentration on

any one name might bring the God before you.

 

Gayathri mantra wipes of our sins. I think you can

chant gayathri mantra also every day for some time.

But pick one name to chant all the time or likhita

japam etc.

it doesnt matter if you change mantras..

 

just repeat what ever mantra appeals to you with devotion. Thats

what my guruji told me.. and i know 3 mantras..and i repeat which

ever one i feel like.. but ultimately.. you will repeat one for most

of the time. but that shouldnt matter so long as your intentions and

thoughts are pure.

Swami has said on many occassions that one should visualise HIM in

any form and HE will grant darshans in that form. So all mantras are

good and powerful provided you are comfortable and have faith in

Swami and the mantra you are chanting.

 

As you say your Ishtdevta is Sai Krishna in which case you could

chant "OM BHAGWAN SRI SATHYA SAI KRISHNAYA NAMAH". This mantra was

given by Swami to Dr Dhirubhai Gadhia, who used to be very close to

Swami in 1950 and 1960 as a student and now he lives in Leicester

UK. He has performed hundreds of Laksharcharns with this mantra,

offering of grains of rice to Swami's photo after chanting each

mantra. The cosmic powers enter the grains of rice and these should

be stored at the bottom of Rice pot in which family stores rice so

that whole family benefits from these rays when these rice are

cooked. The pot should not let empty and just refilled again. The

results are evident immediately, Swami has cured by rice grains as

people have regained sight and other have been cured of illnesses.
