(PDT)sherry Patience.

Sai Ram !

The following is an excerpt from Phyllis Krystal's book, "Let's thank God".

(Chapter 29 page 54)

Hope it inspires you as much as it has inspired me.

" Patience, for most people, is one of the hardest things to achieve. We are

always in a hurry and the pressure to hurry is fast increasing in the whole

world. Instant gratification is becoming a worldwide theme with everyone

grabbing whatever they want in the vain hope that it will satisfy their hunger.

But timing is of the essence. When we use our will to force something we think

we want , it usually backfires. Either it will leave us still unsatisfied or

may actually cause us harm.

There is a right time for everything, so we need to cultivate patience and learn

to WAIT until the correct time arrives for something to happen, or for us to be

given something we need.

We have to learn not to try to bend things to our own will, for is we do so, the

results will disappoint us instead of giving us pleasure."

Let's trust in Swami and try to surrender to His will.

Jai Sai Ram.

Sai ram..

This has come as a geat piece of advise to me at this point. I am working in a

callcenter as a customer support executive. It is an international and reputed

organization which was recently acquired by IBM. I completed my Engineering

degree 4 years back and was in search of a job and was doing all odd jobs and

finally got this job due to a friend an ex student of SSIHL puttaparthy. My

heart was paining to continue in the same position and I was contacting all

consultants Icould wasting a lot of money on resumes, phone calls, and browsing

the net. The ego in me and the hardships my parents had takes to put me for

engineering studies has caused this..

Now what has affected me is that I was mentally confused and wanted to complete

my MBA while working on my own without disturbing my poarents and take care of

them with a nice job.. I was very sad today.. But when I see this message, I

feel it is swami who is consoling me.

Thank you swami.. I will be patient.
