News from Prashanti Nilayam, October 12-15, 2004

 

October 15

 

Yesterday Mr.Anil kumar announced that there will free food

distribution in the villages surrounding puttaparthi for atleast one

month. He also said that they will be giving out clothes and 150000

ladoos (sweets) will also be given. Then there was a drama by the

students. Swami's schools are on holidays so the girls from

Anantapur are here to do seva for a month or so. And there is big

crowd devotess here who arrived last night. There was heavy down

pour of rain last night.

 

October 14

 

Yesterday evening students performed drama after the bhajans, the

drama was about the greatest devotees. The devotee of Rama who

beleived in him and prayed to him in all adversities and the devotee

of Krishna who never forgot his Lord.

 

October 13

 

Yesterday evening there was a drama by children. They performed the

life of "Shiridi Sai Baba", Swami's previous avatar. After the drama

Swami presented the boy who played Shiridi with a gold chain.

 

October 12

 

Today morning Swami came outside mandir, and the devotees outside

got a good darshan. This was at 8:40 am in the morning, Swami

returned to mandir at 9:20 am.

Dear Sai Brothers and Sisters

A very touching thing is the service dedication that has been developed by my

son . He joined the Sathya Sai Higher Secondary school at Puttaparthi last year

in XIth std and is in his XII std now. He informed me that he had obtained very

good marks because of the vibrations while sitting in front of swamy daily in

the afternoons after school, and he find no subject tough. Though he took

sanskrit as second language for the first time, he started scoring good marks

now. He says that all this is ue to Baba's blessings.

His exams are over and now all the students are going for Gram Seva till 23d

October after which he will have a 10 days holiday.

I am happy that with Blessings of Swamy my son also has dedicated himself to the ideals of Baba.

I thought i should this information with my sai sisters and brothers.
