I can answer your question re the dogs roaming inside the ashram when Baba is in Whitefield

Many good people feed them, and Swamie appointed a good lady to run a most

excellent veterinary care centre just outside the village as well ..she is

Clementien Pauws..... .clementien please do visit her wonderful

sanctuary when next in Puttaparthi..she is always there devoting her life to

rescuing and treating all Swamies beloved animals..if you ever see a suffering

animal in Puttaparthi phone her and she will send qualified good people who will

take it back to the sanctuary and care for it free of charge her phone is

0091-0-8555-287214 they also need donations ........of course they treat the

animals, rescue,... and return them absolutely free,

conducting, with the aid of many other volunteers, near the Ashram of Baba in

Puttaparthi. Karuna Hospital is located in Enumulapalli village (two

kilometres from Puttaparthi). Karuna Sanctuary is located near the Sri Sathya

I emailed Clementien after advising somene else to do so because he

wants to donate and here is

clementien's reply to me giving clear details of how to donate

Sai Baba Himself asked her to set up and run this Sanctuary and she

can send Brochures etc..I believe she comes from Holland herself but

she has most wonderful Indian and other helpers

Do hope some of us can send!!

Donations may be sent via POSTAL MONEY ORDER,

INTERNATIONAL MONEY ORDER or PERSONAL CHEQUE made out

to "KARUNA SOCIETY FOR ANIMALS AND NATURE" and sent by

snail mail to our address. Bank transfers may also be

done - our bank account information available on

request.

 

You mentioned Western Union, but we have never

received money though that so we are not sure how it

would work. If that way is most convenient for you,

the facility is available through the post office here

(named PRASANTHI NILAYAM). If you can only send it

through the name of an individual, you can send it to

my name, CLEMENTIEN PAUWS, and notify us through email

of the code number to pick it up. We will contact the

psot office for more information if you decide to use

Western Union.
