APJ Abdul Kalaam at the conclusion of the dance drama "Narthaki Kirtanam" performed by the leading Bharatnatyam dancer Vasanthi Sridhar and her students of Sai International Centre in Delhi on Tuesday. According to Vasanthi, the project took shape when "the abhangs were divinely revealed to me in Sanskrit, Marathi, Brij Basha and Telegu". The dance drama, based on 21 abhangs and kirtans, was written by Vasanthi Sridhar and sung by Hariharan and Suresh Wadkar. The music was composed by Ashit Desai. These recording s are available on Times Music audio album "Bhav Tarangini". The stage presentation had commenced with a Sai Kirtan, to mark the birthday of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Then salutations were paid to all lords including Shiva and Shakti, the omni-present deities for classical dance exponents. When former Election Commissioner T.
