Sairam.

With the Divine blessings of Bhagawan on 13th February 2004, we the members of

Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Thiruvallur District have conducted a Public

Programme on "Unity of Faith" at Bakthavatsalam Vidyasramam School Grounds at

Korattur, Chennai. Probably this could be the first time Sri Sathya Sai

Organisations has gone to host a programme inviting eminent Speakers from

different Religions to speak on a same platform.

A gist of the programme is enumerated below for your benefit.

Programme commenced at 2:30 PM with a Procession carrying decorated Swamy's

photo in a pallakku led by Nadhaswaram, Veda Chanting, Balavikas Children,

Mahilas and Gents doing Bhajans separately.

The stage was decorated nicely. Sarva Dharma Symbol was displayed in the Center

and then Swami's portraits were kept on both the sides of the stage. Bhajan

commenced at 3:45 PM and continued till 04 15 PM, when main programme started.

Dr M Vijayakumar, Member, Sri Sathya Sai Trust, Tamilnadu, has inaugurated the

Ahimsa to be followed by all. What we sow only we will get back afterwards, so

we should spend all our time and resources properly and we should not hurt any

creatures which is way of life.

Christianity who has stressed that the LOVE is the base for every religion in

general and Jesus Christ’s Messages in particular. He said that the

Christianity is respected and followed mostly in all countries.

Prof Sangili, summed up all the messages from speakers and related it with our

Beloved Bhagavan's message and concluded, it is very essential that we all

should understand this and live upto the level of teaching great god head

personalities. We should not differenntiate others separately and all are one

which reaches same GOAL.

Finally Professor R.Dakshinamurthy referred in his Chief Guest Address, this is

a Great Conference this should be published in Television all entire mankind

should see this programme and transform themselves. Further he said first time

Sai Ram, As part of the annual program for this year, our Samithi at Chittoor ,

A.P, has also planned for a 5 session course on Universality of Religions, the

first four sessions for describing the main religions, and the last one for

bringing all the religions into one universal fold.

It would be helpful, if you could suggest good speakers, IN TELUGU ONLY, who

could help us out in this program.
