Dear Sai Brothers and Sisters,

Can anyone advise the correct procedure in reading

Lord Bhagwan Shirdhi Babaji's Sai Satcharita.

The do's and dont's...

If anyone can advise from any quotes of Sai,i would be

very grateful.Or is there any website i could refer.

SaiRam Sharmila,

People follow many procedures to do. But no procedure

in particular is written even in Sai Satcharitra.

Daily at your convenience light lamps either in the

morning or evening and start reading it. Start this on

a Thrusday. You need not even stick onto rule saying

that U need to finish the entire chapter in 1 day.

Read bit by bit with a good comfort level. If you are

particular in following a procedure then some people

usually start it on thrusdays and finish the enire

book in one week.

At the end of the week offer prasdam of your choice to

Sai. Some people do it for 7 days. Some do the same

for 40 days. If you read it in morning or evening

times your mind will be pleasent. When ever U do light

a lamp

or one incense stick before baba and sit with your

legs crossed and do it.

Baba himself suggested to one of his devotee's about

reding the Satcharitra.

 

VITHAL HIMSELF APPEAReD

 

Sai Baba was very fond of remembering and singing

God's name. He always uttterd Allah Malik(God is Lord)

and in his presence made others sing God's name

continuously, day and night, for 7 days. This is

called Namasaptaha. once He asked Das GANU Maharaj tto

do the Namasaptaha. He replied that hee wouldd do it,

provided that he was assured that Vithal wouls appear

at the end of the 7th day. Then Baba, placing his hand

on his breast assured him that certainly Vithal would

appear,but that the devotee must be ' earnest and

devout'. The Dankapuri (Takore) of Takurnath, the

Pandhari of Vithal, the Dwarka of Ranchhod (Krishna)

is here (Shirdi). one need not go far to see Dwarka.

Will Vithal come here from outdise place? He is here.

Only when the devotees is bursting with love andd

devotion, Vithal will manifest Himself here (Shirdi).

 

After the Sapatha was over, Vithal did manifest

Himself in the following manner. Kakasaheb Dixit

was,as usual, sittting in meditation after thee bath,

and he saw Vithal in a vision. When he went at noon

forr Baba's darshan, Baba asked him point-blank- " Did

Vithal Patil come? Did you see him? He is a very

truat fellow, catch Him firmly, otherwise, He will

escape, if you be a litttle inattentive". This

happened in the morning and at noon there was anotther

Vithal Darshana. One hawker from outside, came there

forr selling 25-30 pictures of Vithoda. This picture

exactly tallied with the figure, that appeared in

Kakasaheb's vision. On seeing this and remebering

Baba's words, Kaksaheb Dixit was much surprised and

delighted. He bought one picture of Vithba, and placed

it in his shrine for worship.

OM SRI SAI RAM, SAIRAM dear Raghavji, BABA will definitely bless you

to resolve your career problems and your mom's health problems. Dear

brother, please do sai Satcharitha saptaha's parayanam. Sai

Satcharitha saptaha is to read Satcharitha in 7 days. Can be started

from any Thursday and end it on Wednesday. On the next Thursday

after reading, please offer some sweat or any thing with full faith

to baba. After doing your first saptaha, Baba will definitely bless

you with any small miracle. Take him as your guide. If you say you

love baba, and then follow his guidance in all your steps. Please

meditate on baba, and ask Baba anything, he will definitely guide

you in all aspects of your life. Place your burden on baba; utter

his name always whenever you have a chance. Sai nama allows you to

even cross seven seas. It takes only one hour every day to do your

saptaha daily reading. Keep on doing your saptaha's, and may be in a

year if you look back, most of your problems would be gone. Its my

personal experience dear brother. Please take baba as your guide,

and do his namasmarana always.

Hello sharmila

As far as i know the sri satcharitra has to be read within 7 days.

That is how i was advised anyway. With your focus on swami and his

grace.

Ssairam, Thank you Gina for that wonderful reply to brother Vishal. I remember

Swami Himself narrated the History of Bhagawan Shirdi Sai in one of His Divine

Discourses and gave all the answers for those who had doubts about our Lord's

previous incarnation.
