Guest guest
Sai Ram to all I would like to share a little story with you all. I got it from someone else in Telugu in a poetic style and now i am trying to translate it. Once upon a time there was a little Ant. One early morning she wished to have a dip in Ganga waters (River Ganges ) caught -up in the dense curls of Lord Shiva's head. But she did not know how to get fulfilled that desire. She thought for a good time in her mind to find a solution for it. After some time she got a good idea and decided to execute her idea using her intelligence and fulfill her desire. And went to a nice flower garden with beautiful flowers on the branches of the plants and creeped along one of the branches till it reached to a very beautiful flower and entered in between the petals of the flower and kept hide herself. Who could guess what was the plan of the little ant is!? On that early morning Lord Shiva's wife came to the garden to collect beautiful flowers to adore Her Lord and filled Her flower basket with many many beautiful flowers and at last plucked too the flower where the little ant kept hide herself. And the Goddess took all the flowers and adored Shiva, Her Lord keeping the flowers She collected on His head. There was the flower in which our little ant was hide, She put on Her Lord's head. The little ant, then used her best chance of being there on the head of Lord Shiva had her so much desired dip in the waters of River Ganga, on the head of The Lord of Universe. In this way such a little being like an Ant could fulfill her desire using her intelligence and aquiring a good compnay to realize it. Good company always leads to good results. The poetic story in Telugu goes more or less like this : Aashraya Mahima : Cheema yokati Shivuni Siramu pai nalararu Ganga loona munu-ganga dalache; Tanadu koorke etlu Konasaaguna yani Chitta-mandu chaala chinta cheese; Chivari-koka yukthi che tana koorke Teerchu konaga nenche telivitooda; Tvara tvara ga cheeri Puula toota yandu Churukuga prakenu chakkani puulu gala kommapai; Cheeri-nantane sundara kusumaala kadaku Nakki kuurchunde-nokka kusumambu nandu, Cheema yukthi yeemo cheppalemu! Shivuni puja koraku Shiva Patni aa proddu Butta ninda meeli puulu nimpi, Kosaku Cheema yunna kusumambu koosi; Shivuni Puja chese aa puula tooda; Ivvidhambuga okka nalusanta aa Cheema Buddhi balamu tooda koorke teerchukona-galige! Puula too kuudi Bhuteshu Siramu cheri, Ganga neeti lona koori munige! Manaku aashrayambu manchidai-nappudu, Cheppanela kaarya siddhi kalugu!!
