My Dream of Swami two nights ago

Sai Ram brothers and sisters. Two nights ago I had a dream in which

Swami was in. In the dream, my aunt and grandmother (who passed away

in May 2001) were walking down a sidewalk by a local park. As they

were walking, my grandmother spun around in her white shall and she

turned into Swami! It was as if she spun very quickly and she appeared

as or turned into Sai Baba.

 

I'm not sure exactly how to view this dream. Any dream with Sai Baba I

believe is beautiful and wonderful. Would anyone care to offer some

insight or ideas as to what this dream may speak about-another

devotee's perspective would be great.

 

I have now had three dreams of Sai Baba in the past few years. In all

three of these dreams, there is a spinning or circular action taking

place with Swami.

I have had similar dreams too.I dreamt I was walking in my lounge and my

eyes are drawn to a picture of Swami when He was young and which I have

placed on the altar.As i reach close to the picture,I don't see Swami but I

see the picture of a friend and colleague when he was young and who had

passed earlier that year.

I believe these dreams happen when a person's third eye is opened;this

'chakra'the 'anthar joti' opens to those who are engaged in 'dyanna'deep

meditation.

Many years ago (so long that I can scarcely remember the details) I read in

one of Swami's books about a (Latin American?)devotee who lost a relative.

This devotee kept crying all the time until Swami came in a dream and told

her that the relative (I think it was her mother) was with Him (and I think

He gave the devotee a vision of the deceased relative). Then the devotee

kept asking Swami if it had actually been the relative she saw, or if it had

been Swami in the form of the relative.

Swami then told her 'your mother and I are one', and to stop crying and stop

asking.

Unfortunately, like I said, I remember almost nothing of what I read or in

what book it was but I do remember the fact the He said very clearly that

the deceased person and He were one. Perhaps Swami is telling you that your

grandmother and He are now one...?

Maybe some other devotee has read the book I am mentioning and remembers

more details.

About the spinning and circular action, it reminds me that a lot of cultures

in the world (eg the Celts, etc) have the symbol of the spiral and circles

in general and that they not only represent so many things in life like the

movement of atoms, of galaxies, etc, but on another level are very important

spiritual symbols that reflect our consciousness, symbolize transcendence,

etc (specially the spiral). Maybe you could try to find a book on spiritual

symbols, or perhaps some of the group members may know something about

symbols that could help you further, or recommend a webpage?

I know that writing this with such a bad memory is almost useless but maybe

it will be 'food for thought' for some other devotee that could then help

you further.
