Avatar, The Sun God

Jai Sai Ram, Could someone please tell me of the physical marks that Swami has

that says He is the Avatar.I know he wears a crown ( his hair),has a mole on

his left cheek. These things were predicted, I hear there is more. I have

absolutely NO doubt he is God, just one look is enough for me, just curious if

anyone knows more. Thank you. Jai Sai Ram. david.

Sai Ram dear David,

please note this passage in the book written by Eruch B. Fanibunda - "Vision of

the Divine" which reads on page 13 (righ column - middle:

"The physical body of an Avatar is is always born with certain distinguished

marks on His left side, in the form of birth-marks or moles. A mark on the

chest is virtually the hallmark of Avatarhood. All Avatars have it, but having

a mole on the left chest, does not automatically confer an Avatarhood. Baba

said, that Krishna had it and all Sai Avatars have it too. Baba once showed

this mark to the author. It was clearly visible as a dark, brown patch against

a light brown skin. The patch resembled an eagle. Baba explained that it was

the sign of Garuda (eagle). There is a deeper spiritual meaning to this symbol

of the Garuda on which the Lord (Vishnu) rides. The Garuda is a symbol of Karma

and its two wings represent sraddha (faith) and bhakti (devotion). In sanskrit

it is called the Hridaya Vihaga which means Heart Bird. Thus, the Lord will b

seated in the heart of a devotee, whos actions are born out of in and devotion

to the Lord."

Also on page 13 - left columns middle - Brother Fanibunda tells, how Swami, when

asked, explained the 16 traits an Avatar shows. It reads:

" One Day the author requested Baba to explain these Divine facets possessed by

Him, as it was not possible for anyone to fathom their secret and only He had

the authority to tell us a little bit about these powers. Baba was kind enough

to explain their meaning. He said, that for the purpose of understanding, these

Kalas may be divided into three groups of five shaktis each. These five shaktis

are: 1. Creation or Srshti - 2. Preservation or Sthithi - 3. Dissolution or

Laya - 4. Taking into account all the previouos existences or Tirodhayak - 5.

Dispensing Special Grace or Anugraha.

The middle group of the five shaktis are applicable to the present. Then the

same group of five shaktis exist for the past and another group of five exists

for the future. These two aditional groups before and after the centre group,

are applicable to all the past incarnations and future incarnations

respectively. Thus, these fifteen shaktis put together point to His

Omnipresence through Time, that is to say He is always present and beyond time.

Thus His all pervading Awareness has instant knowledge of all things, at all

times. The last and the final Kala, the sixteenth one, is that of Being. That

is the Paramatma that Baba Is. "

Bless your heart.

Sisterly Love from - Gitta
