Guest guest Posted October 4, 2005 Report Share Posted October 4, 2005 Thank you so much for the feed back- thanks a lot.( Swamis Grace) Yes we will chant Gayatri mantra starting this month as Brother Madhu suggested- so we will request Sister Anita Shakti to remind us when is the Poornima this month.(soon as possible) Brother Bodla Raamesh suggested we should pray at Brahma Moohirtam now Brahma Moohartam means - 3.00 AM to 6.00 AM- so we need feed back about this if it is Okay for all the devotees once a month at this time. Now Gayatri mantra if we chant with correct intonations and with the same speed like Swami chanted it will take approximately 45 minutes (my practical experience)- 108 times. If we chant with medium fast speed it will take approx - 20 minutes.( 108 times). please decide and one more suggestion as Sister Sathya wanted to chant 28 times Loka Samastha Sukhino Bhavanthu so this we can include after Gayatri mantra - Our chanting will be 20 minutes Gaytri mantra chanting ( medium fast speed ) and 28 times Loka Samastha Sukhino Bhavanthu which will be 2 minutes and twenty seconds - follwed by Santi mantra three times. Just to remind once more it will be once a month on Poornima day ( Gayatri mantra chanting(108) and Loka Samstha mantrra chanting-28 times )- there will be no other prayers for that day. Will it be Brahma moohartam timings or it will be at 7.00 am? ( Brahma Moohartam more effective but again collectively we have to decide) Let us decide brother's and sister's sooner the better- Thanks a lot Brother's and Sister's ( I couldn't mention all the names pardon me).
