Sai Ram Dear Brothers & Sisters,

I have read about the ' Navratree' and I see the Durga Puja in a clearer

perspective. However, I would like to know from anyone who can explain

whether it is also true to say that the nine Divine Nights represent also

the 9 'figures' or 'Roop ' of Durga Maa. Also I would like to get more

informaiton about restrictions on the food that we are allowed to consume

during this fasting period. To what I have been told, it is that even among

the vegetables, we are not supposed to take certain things like' baigan' or

pumpkin.. if this is so is there any reason for it?

Thank you for clearing my doubts
