From Baba to His Brother...

Beloved Brothers and Sisters

 

Bhagawan Baba says "we should not judge and condemn others.." To highlight the

message of Baba, I am posting the following for all of us-

 

Extracts from a letter written by Bhagawan Baba and addressed to His Brother on

the 25 May 1947.( Source- L'Aube d'une nouvelle ere-1982):

 

"Je dois te dire qu'il est impossible de sonder les coeurs et de mettre a nu la

nature veritable des "jnanis' ceux qui ont acquis la sagesse, des 'yogis', ceux

qui sont en communion avec le Seigneur, des ascetes,des saints et des sages.Les

gens sont dotes de caracteristiques et de predispositions mentales variees, qui

leur permettent de juger selon leur propre point de vue et d'analyser seulement

a la lumiere de leur propre nature."

 

" I have to tell you that it is impossible to probe the heart and to reveal the

true nature of 'jnanis' the Wise, the 'yogis' the One who is in communion with

God,the Ascetic, the Saintly and the Learned.People are endowed with varied

characteristics and mental faculties which makes it possible for them to judge

from their own point of view and to analyse in the light of their own nature."

 

"Mais chacun doit rester fidele au chemin qu'il s'est fixe,a sa propre sagesse,

a sa propre resolution,sans se laisser influencer par ce que les autres

pensent.Comme le dit le proverbe "seul l'arbre charge de fruits sera la cible

des passnts..." Les bons offrent toujours aux mechants la tentation de les

calominer et les mechants tournent toujours les bons en ridicule.Telle est

la nature de ce monde et l'on devrait s'etonner que du contraire"

 

"But each one should remain fixed on the goal that he has chosen, to his own

wisdom, to his own resolution, without allowing others to influence his mind by

their thoughts. As goes the proverb"only the tree which bears fruit becomes the

target of stones...".The Good always offer to the Bad the temptation to slander

them and the Bad always ridiculise the Good. This is the true nature of this

world; you would be surprise if it were different.."

 

"Les gens doivent etre plaints, plutot que condamnes,car ils ne savent pas et

ils n'ont pas la patience necessaire pour pouvoir juger en conaissance de

cause..."

 

'People should be pitied rather than condemned because THEY DO NOT KNOW nor do

they have the patience to jugde with full knowledge of all the facts.."
