Last day of the trip and I have already made peace with my mind, but then again

Swami tempted me with another token of line number one. Again He came towards

me but this time, I did not have any letter with me. I looked at His Feet. Just

wanted to have the bliss of touching them once, those Feet worshipped by Brahma.

:) I did not know that He has stoppped giving PadaNamaskar! I stretched my hand

out to touch them but there was a Sai student accompanying Swami, following Him

by moving over knees. He saw my hand advancing towards His Feet. He smiled at me

sweetly and pushed my hand aside. I returned his smile and tried to touch Swamis

Feet again. He pushed it back again and the game continued for a while until

Swami left...lol.

It appeared as if the event had no significance but quite unknowingly the

picture of the Sai student following Swamis Footsteps taking care of what Swami

needs, has left a strong impression on me. While coming out of the hall, I

wondered, that position of Swami's boy would have been mine if I had heard

Swamis Call and joined the school when He gave me admission. Well, it is not

too late either. I shall mould myself into that boy, I told myself. That boy

who followed Swami wherever He went, whichever way He turned. With no

questions, no doubts, no hesitations. The boy's joy is in following Swami and

looking always at His Face to see what he can do to make Him happy. Always

attentive.

I tried to read the boy's face. Now after watching the movie - Gladiator, I feel

Maximus, the lead role in this movie had borne a similar face. It appears as if

it has no feeling. But if you look closely into his eyes, you would see he does

have a desire and it is only one desire, to make his Beloved happy. Everything

else in the world is only a means to achieve this objective of his.

I returned back to campus, with those memories. I bought my first Bhajanaavali

and started attending all weekly Bhajans on Sundays at college Samithi. Sunday

evenings and the cycle rides to the BITS Director's house (that was our Bhajan

place) are few of the most sweetest moments of my college days. No one could

ever make my heart as light as Swami did. He is all in all. He is just the one

whom I needed.
