Guest guest
Sai Ram, Im from Sri Lanka.Im 21 years.Since 1993 I have been a devotee. I have indeed been longing to get into a website where I could interact with Sai devotees. Thanks to Swami that I finally have got into a Sai group. I value this group alot & will do much more as time goes. The reason for it is as follows: I believe Swami is in everyone. We pray to Swami asking him to answer our prayers. He can come in the form of dreams,do a miracle,by reading his books etc... The following have happened to me but what I like the most is when I talk/communicate to people & trying to find an answer from their experience, what new thing they have to tell me.Im more than satisfied then.Specially when talking to devotes we can learn alot, improve our way of thinking.More or Less it is like talking to Swami. Eventhough Im a devotee of Swami Im not 100% free of problems.I do have faith in him.I shoud be free of a disturbed mind & a troubled heart having known Swami.I know Im closer in getting out of my problems now.The answer is having started to communicate with my dear Sai brothers & sisters.May be Swami thinks I have to find a solution through my dear brothers & sisters that is why he has left some of my problems unsolved. Problems may be minute but it depends on how each individual looks at it.In other words, something that is big to me may be nothing for you....True there are teachings of Swami not to worry, fear etc...Even when we read it is hard to put it into practice. We need to speak out & get advise, then when we become kind of strong & together with Swami's teachings our problem comes to an end. I have alot of love for Swami,I have faith in him & trust him.Still for all Im not steady.I consider my self weak, having low-confidence & unsuccessful when it comes to studies.I have prayed to him but not got an answer till now.I think the answer will come as I communicate to someone who really wishes to understand me & help me. Before I end I'd like to share one of Swami's quotes: "JUST AS THE BIRDS HAVE TWO WINGS WHICH HELP THEM TO FLY, LOVE & SERVICE ARE LIKE THE TWO WINGS, WHICH ENABLE MAN TO REACH THE GOAL OF LIFE QUIKCLY" Sai Ram, Sudha

Guest guest
Sai Ram Sister Sudha Hearty welcome to you to this amazing group. Here you share, discuss, learn, love and practice what Swami teaches. color:navy">Dear sister you have stated “ color:navy">I consider my self weak, having low-confidence & unsuccessful when it comes to studies. I have prayed to him but not got an answer till now.” Let me share a small experience of mine in a nutshell with you. I have been a student who always came first in the class, etc, etc. When I was doing my Chartered Accountancy exams (which has 4 parts), in the first three parts passed with good results. But, all these happened before I came into Swami’s fold. But I did the final part after coming into Swami’s fold. Guess what happened?? I failed. Even my lecturers couldn’t believe it. I failed not once my dear but thrice. Every time I prayed earnestly to Swami to make me to pass. Every time I when came down I was ridiculed by many for not only for my failure but for my devotion to my Swami. I could neither answer anybody nor defend my devotion to Swami. All I did was cried in front of Swami’s picture. I have taken study leave, studied hard, prayed immensely, but Swami didn’t make me to pass. After the 3rd attempt I skipped one session and went to Parthi. When I went to obtain leave, the partner of the CA firm asked why I am taking leave - whether it’s for the studies. I said ‘No! I want to go to Parthi’. I can’t explain the sarcastic expression on his face. He gave me lot advice such as this is not age to go to Parthi, etc, etc instead to do the exams. But, I was steadfast on what I was doing. I did the exam the next session under lots of pressure from work. That is, I had to work more, etc… But, guess what happened? I Passed. I couldn’t believe myself. With such little effort I passed whereas in the previous sessions …………….. bold">Not only that!! So too, all our ideas which are recklessly and aimlessly going their own way, should be channelled by constructing the dam of discipline. Guest guest
Sai Ram Sudha ... Many blessings and welcome to you ... Listen to our dear brother Krishnan .. though he is a silver tongued poet in his praises of all of us His heart is sweet and pure and giving. You child .. are family. This is fundamental to what Swami tries to teach all of us .. we are all his .. we are all his children .. we are all related to each other .. there is only one religion .. LOVE. We have taken birth to discover our royal heritage of being Divine .. but until then we are given our lives to realize that we need each other ...we need to help each other and by helping each other .. we help ourselves ... Never belittle who you are .. You are God inside .. never forget that. We all have problems ... but what would we learn in life if we had no problems .... ?? Would we ever reach out to each other? Would we ever strife for God's grace? No .. we would not ... we would sit back as big fat happy cats .. LOL Know that if you have come to Swami and to this group .. that it is your good merits that brought and Sai's love and grace ... and as such ... we open our hearts and arms to you always .. Welcome Home child of God ... Be well and be happy ... Your Sister in Sai Always Melody sudha42h wrote: Sai Ram,Im from Sri Lanka.Im 21 years. Guest guest
confidence. There are times Ive had so much trust in Swami that he'll definitely help me but even at those times Im let down. Why does it happen that way???? At any time Ill never loose my trust for Swami.I love our beloved Bhagavan. After all what has happened to me when I pray I have fear..."what if im let down...i had had so much hope" I was a science student did it upto my Advance level.Wanted to do a degree in chemistry.Unfortunately couldn't afford the high tution fees.I had to divert my major to banking.Subject is totally new to me.....As it is Im average & when Im in a new stream it is kind of hard for me.Work is good but studies is hard.I still try & love what I study. When Im trying God should show some sympathy towards me & help me pass. The more he fails me the more ill hate this field......Then I become lost... Comparing myself to another,is it wrong?I always have that tendency.Unsatisfied feeling in me.... I have such minor problems but to me they are big.It shouldn't be,right???I know!!!Im quite a sensitive person.I hope & pray that your mails which explain life to me better will strengthen me with time. Pls excuse me if my mails are confusing....My imnd is in a total mess & trying to explain it is a bigger mess.Of what you understand pls give me good reply.Ill be happy to answer questions/doubts etc.. Guest guest
I would like to add a few lines. Knowing Swamy or coming in to Swamy's fold does not mean the end of all problems. Swamy's shown an example in Ramavatar on how to go through problems. Pandavas were always drowned in problems despite Krishna's support. Problems make you stronger and better and Close to GOD. You will have the same problems but you wont be alone, Swamy will walk you through the problems. You cannot escape Karma, you have to burn your karma by going through it. Some times, we see our problems through the magnifying glass. Some times, we become lazy and expect miracles. We have to keep the great devotees in mind. Hanuman always served Rama. If possible, serve Swamy in his mission. We should be at least like the pandavas who always followed Krishna's advice with courage and conviction. Pray Swamy to give the strength to go through the problems. Pray Swamy to be with us every moment. Sai Ram.

Guest guest
Sairam with pranams at the Divine Lotus Feet of our Beloved Lord dear sister in Sai, Sudha its nice you have joined the Sath Sangh of like minded aspirants and certainly its due to Bhagwan's Blessings. you will find interacting with evolved Sai sisters like sister Reet sister Dr Meenaji, sister Madhvi Sai, saisister Melody Mclarty,Saisister Shivathmika very enlightening.they substanciate the Sai teachings with personal experiences and inferences for us to draw inspiration and reflect ourselves. let me attempt to clarify some points you have mentioned . i picked the key sentences from your message 1. Since 1993 I have been a devotee.- you are chosen by our Lord as a nine year child- what a blessing! 2. I value this group alot ...- me too, and all of us 3. Eventhough Im a devotee of Swami Im not 100% free of problems...-who doesnt have problems , tell me. Bhagwan prepares us to face them they are life situations. Bhagwan trains us to take the Bull by its horn. face the devil finish at the goal 4. something that is big to me may be nothing for you....may be, most of us have the habit of comparing; there is only one beautiful child in this world,.. and every mother has it. 5. I consider my self weak.... hello, sister wake up , who said u r weak. self condemnation itself is selfishness.u can come out of this certainly. start loving yourself first. with prayers to our beloved Bhagwan Crishnan sudha42h wrote: Sai Ram, Im from Sri Lanka.Im 21 years. Guest guest
Yogakhsemam - looking after our welfare here and hereafter. The other truth is that our Beloved Lord Sathya Sai is GOD, but He has a body and the body is afflicated with normal human problems - like pain. Well to the eye this is correct, but when the eyes are closed - it is all drama. Yes, there is very profound lesson in all this drama - we are desiring our pain to be removed but, never do we give a worry to the pain that the source of all of us is suffering - for us. If that source is supreme - which it is - we should not pray for our pains to be removed, because every pain every problem every worry is a passing cloud - it will go. Pray for Lookaha Samastha and you will never feel any pain - Yes there is truth in this. In spirituality there are no one ways to anything, total surrender to the Supreme is one way and Devotion to the Supreme is another way and the Path of Wisdom - that there is only one SELF - that is supreme and all of us - all matter - all space - everything till the Brahamaloka is HIM and ONLY HIM is yet another way. Let us appreciate the path each one of us is on. Guest guest
mind will be under our control...then v will follow the dictates of our soul..ie. god...and will not be tempted by petty desires....moreover baba says to practically implement all this in our life..v need to put a ceiling on our desires....which means..do everything within limits...by not wasting food, water, electricity, energy and time..by not buying more and more dresses...by not competing with the world in accumulating materialistic things...what v all want in life is peace and bliss..and baba says that happiness i s a state of mind..it lies inside us and not in this world..which is nothing more than a mirage....thus sairam...please do try to compete only with urself and not others....and try to inculcate sathya, dharma, shanti and ahimsa by uprooting kaam, krodh, lobh ,moha and maya....and yes ill also like to share something with u which i read today in one of the books of baba..............regarding gayatri mantra....it is the most powerful mantra..and protects and fiulfills the wishes of the one who chants it with sincerity and in the right way...it shud be chanted in the morning, before sunrise..during noon and in rthe evening after sunset...108 times every time.....and if v can chant it with every breath of our ;ife..v will be able to accomplish the very purpose of life..so sairam...first try to lead a disciplined life (as per baba's instructions)..and u must do meditation as it helps in increasing the concentration and to conclude i'll just like to quote one of baba's teachings..................... "WITH EFFORT AND PRAYER DESTINY CAN BE ACHIEVED"----BABA sairam do let me know if my effort to be of some help to has worked and yes....donot worry just remember... Guest guest
Our most humble Salutations at the Divine Lotus Feet of our Beloved Bhagwan, dear sister in Sai, Sudharshi, i am happy to learn , you are good in science and Chemistry in particular. i was scared of Chemistry in my school days; even today my chemistry with many people is not good. For a person who can fathom the equations of chemistry, the reactions - endo& exothermic, balancing the equations- i bet - the subject of Banking is just a fleebite. Banking on your Huge amount of Fixed deposit - Sai Bhakthi, you are sure to tide over these small pinpricks and emerge Grand Great and Godly. "All cows do not yield same milk, all fingers are not equal , so too all are not equal " - Bhagwan's words- i meant of comparisons Very recently i heard from a very Senior Sai family member- we have to strenghthen our strengths and weaken our weakness. analyse the subjects- findout which branch you are confident- costing ? Revenues,Accounting, Bills, Budget, ? mark which chapters you are comfortable with , which sections you need to understand better. make a Johari's Window of your present Level. then, plan your work- work your plan. with prayers to Bhagwan Crishnan sudharshi fernando wrote: Sai Ram brother Crishnan & sister Melody, Attachment: (application/x-zip-compressed) baby.zip [not stored]

Guest guest
Sis sai Sudha, Thanks for your nice email. Me too, over many times, thinkinkg like, "I'm more.... more into troubles, after started believing Sri BABA." I even was arguing with my wife (still, i do the same, sometimes), who blindly believes HIM, like, "what for i'm worshiping him, if he can't show solutions for my tensions/worries/problems?" like kinda. I was doing yoga, i was doing meditation, and, after started believing Sri BABA, i started doing Sri Sathya Sai Baba paarayana. After reading other devotees experiences, i understand like, up/downs, are so common, in everyone's life. We should never... never take them to heart. Happiness, and, sorrows also, we should never take to heart... as they keep changing their turns. Its true like, when someone here, analyses our tensions/worries/fears, i'm relaxed a lot... mentally felt there're people, who thinks for me... who guides me... sort. Mmmm.. problems... non evitable. But, we should not feel them. We should feel, we should think confident like, Sri BABA will be resolving them, for sure. WE'VE TO TAKE THINGS GRANTED LIKE, HE'S LISTENING TO OUR PRAYERS. HE'LL SHOW US, SOME, RIGHT PATH/SOLUTION TO OUR PROBLEMS. BETTER IF DONT THINK THEM, AT ALL - AS ITS SURE THAT, HE'LL BE RESOLVING THEM, But, we sholuld never leave hopes on HIM. YES, its true... we'll get solutions for our problems, here, in these sathya sai baba groups. BABA speaks to us, through other devotees... as Sri BABA is the in-dweller... he lives in everybody... myself, yourself, and, in each, and, everybody... BUT, IF WE'RE IN TENSIONS/FEARS, WE CAN'T HEAR HIM, THOUGH, HE LIVES, IN OUR HEART. THEN, THE ONLY WAY, IS LISTENING TO OTHER DEVOTEES ANSWERS... AS HE SPEAKS THROUGH THEM. Here, i do wanna suggest you, one thing - do make a habit of reciting "GAYATRI MANTRA", all the times... while walking, eating, working,... always, and, all the times. DO BABA BLESS YOU! Guest guest
Brother Jatinder Shad is on the dot, buy my training for well over half a century with this now Sai form has presented this entity yet another angle. Beloved Lord Sathya Sai has been forced by us all to wear a body, by our calls in ignorance, by our misguided practices. Our constant presentation of supposedly human problems, pains, frustration, one's fall in Society's eyes, name, fame and shame, without turning to our Sookshma Sai, eyes closed or open. We do not note we see but a Virtual reality, a drama. Profound lesson in all this drama is we are desiring our pain to be removed as per our earthly mind solutions, ignoring the fact that we dialed for our misery, which when it arrives we measure against a bench mark handed down by our society of the day, as cultivated and accepted by our MIND values of the day. We seem designed to be blind to our true source of pain. We run up our own suffering against given bench marks. So we must get an overview of the Universal game so nothing is outside of us. For this one has to be seated in the Universal. For that who can seat us proper than Baba and his true values. So pray not for small solutions but seek perfection of God forms in all Lokas.
