Guest guest
Dearest Sai Family .... FINALLY !! Since last Friday we have been without power in the state of New Hampshire .... We had tremendous and unusual wind storms come through the state which torn down many power lines ..then we had a terribly cold front move in .. So many people this past weekend in the Northeast went without power, heat, lights and so on. My little family is just fine and I was deeply touched by everyones wonderful and thoughtful prayers for us and on our behalf. Thanks to dear brother Thiroshan for putting out my note to everyone as to why I could not send Sundays Prayer List! It was only by Baba's grace that I realized that I could call my wonderful Sai brother in Florida ( for we briefly had phones on saturday before they went out again ) .... I quickly called him to let everyone know that I could not send the list and then BIP* .. the phones were gone again. Things seem to be much quieter now .. most of the state has lights, power, phones and computers back but it has been one of those weekends which reminds us how much we should not rely on things but God and ourselves to survive .. and it is a time where people need to come togeather as a community and cooperate with one another for I fear in the future ... we are not going to make it alone in this world but only if we work togeather and have God's grace. We at the McClarty household .. though we went without .. had a wonderful chance to be togeather, close to God and quiet repose. By God's grace ... I was gifted a truly beautiful copy of all three books of Sai Darshan in one book .. so I have been able to blissfully spend the weekend ( when not getting water from the stream ) reading Seema Dewans truly amazing books Sai Darshan ... it has brought me so much closer to Sai ... Sai's grace has been bountiful in this seemingly series of misfortunes .. So ... to all of my family ... my apologies for not being able to perform my seva duties this past weekend .. apparently God had other plans .. but if my power holds ... I will surely have the list sent out by tomorrow for everyone .. Again .. thank you all for your wonderful prayers and concerns for our welfare .... I could not be blessed with a more wonderful Sai Family .... we are all fine here in New Hampshire ... Many blessings to everyone ... Thank you again to everyone Thanks also to Brother Thiroshan for relaying my message to everyone ... Your Sister in Sai Always Melody ... New Prayer List tomorrow .. Guest guest
Dear Sis Melody Thank you for letting us know that you are fine. Swami was with you and looking after all of you. We in Kenya are at the other end of the stick - NO RAINS. We are experiencing the worst drought in years. It is so disheartening to see the cows being brought into the City to feed on the little grass that grows around. They are so weak to even walk. Lots of people are facing starvation in the North of Kenya and lots are dying also. It brings tears to my eyes everytime we are shown pictures of the starving children and feel so guilty when I sit down to have my meal. It just does not seem fair. Water is being rationed and yes, even in the City. It is so sad when we see children walking around with containers looking for water. With despair and still no sign of any rain, I am asking that KENYA be included in the list and please pray for the children, the old, the not so old and for everyone in Kenya, that we may receive rains soon. May Swami give us the much needed rains. Thank you all very much. May Swami Bless us all. Manju Naul

We do not know what it is not to have. The very thought of people not having their very and most basic needs taken care of hurts. I pray to Baba to take care of these children in Kenya and in the rest of the world. He alone knows it all. We are all only passers-by and he will take care of situations through any of us He chooses to. But what we can definitely do is Pray and pray and pray constantly. Lots of love. I pray not only for Humans, but also for all Jeevis and that includes the Cows in Kenya. ---------- Soumendra Bhattacharjee <soumendra_toronto Tue Feb 21, 2006 2:37pm Re: [saibabanews] Re: Sai Ram to Everyone from Melody Sai Ram , Yes Yes we all will pray for Kenya.
