It was after midnight, I was driving home from a friend's place; she had organised a Ladies Get together.It was raining heavily and the night was pitch dark. I had put on the wipers and beam lights.I speed up as the road was clear. After some time, I reached a place where the road narrows to allow only one car to pass.When lo! on my left I saw a man standing by the side of the road with an alsatian dog. His head was covered with a 'gooni' hood. I slowed down to avoid him when he raised a big stick which he was holding and he hit violently on my widscreen.Bow! The glass flew into pieces and I ducked to protect my face.Striken with fright I gathered speed and drove on without turning back or looking into my rear view mirror. When I reached home, I looked at my windscreen. Believe it or not, it was intact! I rushed inside reciting a verse of the Hanuman Chalisa....bhoot pichast nikat nahi awey Mahaveer jaab naan sounawey...Jaya jaya Hanuman.. Does not Bhagawan Baba tell us to always recite the Name of GOD? Voila! this is one of the reasons that we should Namasmaran without stop RAM RAM SAIRAM!
