A devotee in the following poem addressing

to Baba,the Emperor of Shirdi, humbly questions

Him (Baba), how long He( Baba) will be silently

hearing to his grievance & will not respond to his

prayer.So he further expresses his sentiments

as in this poem :--------

E mere Hazur, mere Badshah,

Shirdi ke Shahanshah Sai.

Kab tak mai bhatkunga raho me,

Mujhe bata, mere Maalik E "Dwarikamai"

Saree duniya ke log aate hai,

Man ki muraad paate hai.

Fir kyo der ki he mere Maalik,

Jab harwaqt tere geet gaate hai.

Shirdi Sai ! teri jay ho,

Mere Maula ! teri jay ho,--

Harwaqt yehi awaaj nikalti hai dil se.

Fir bhi tu maun baitha hai Sai,

Kya koyi bhool huyi kabhi mujhse.

Kab-tak yohi aap ruthe rahenge,

Kya hai shikayat, kuchh to kahenge.

Kabhi to dil pighlega aapka jarur,

Mujhse milenge aur baat karenge.

Mujhe kya gam yadi aap nahi aate,

Dil ki kashish ke saath jeeta rahunga.

Harwqt teri yaad karke dil me,

Jai Sai ! Jai Baba ! kahta rahunga.

=========

=O my Hazur (Master),O my Badshah (King).

O Sai ! the Emperor of Shirdi, how long I shall

be roaming in the path. Pl let me know, O my

Lord of "Dwarikamayi"

=The people from all over the world come to you.

They get fulfilled their desires.Then why so much

delay in my case when I use to sing your songs

all the time.

=" Jai to Shirdi Sai,Jai to my Maula( Master)"

All the time this voice echoes from my heart.

O Sai ! yet you are sitting silently,have I done any

mistake any time.

=How long you will remain unhappy with me.What

is the complaint,will you say something.I am sure

that some day or other your heart will certainly melt

and you will meet me & have a conversation.

=What could be any problem to me, even if you do

not come.I shall keep on living with your inner thirst

& attraction (with the feelings of inner rememberance

& kinship). Remembering you(maintainig inner

relationship with you) all the time in my heart,I shall continue saying, "Jai

Sai & Jai Baba. "
