1. FOUNDATION STONES FOR THE SPIRITUAL LIFE:

Rajeswari Kasturi, Saidarbar – Hyderabad

120. For fulfilling the social and moral obligations, one has to earn

money. So earn money in a way that will not defame and bring

difficulties to you.

121. Whatever money you earn, you plan a proper way for spending it.

Preserve money for your old age needs only. The money you preserve for

not spending is as good as money not earned.

122. Earning money is a painful process but when you earned in a

proper way, will give happiness.

123. The shelter under the shade of cloud and company with a bad

person will give a momentary happiness. In the similar way, the

happiness with money and youth will give you temporary happiness.

124. No doubt, you have to work hard to earn your bread and butter.

But it will be great if you work for other's bread and butter also.

125. The way the ants save food for rainy season, you should save the

money what you earned during your youth for your old age.

126. The wise man will engage in charities for a better rebirth. A

fool will avoid charities thinking that he may become pauper in this birth

127. The rich person will always strive to be more richer and in that

process he will lose all the happiness of the life.

128. Earning too much money is like attachment to a loving daughter.

But you should know that loving daughter, will leave the house after

marriage.

129. You should acquire knowledge and earn money gradually, the way

you collect the droplets of rain water in a pot kept under open sky.

2. SAI'S NEWS FROM THE TIME MACHINE:

Ashwin/Vadya 13, 1910: SaiBaba pushed His arm in to the brightly

burning Dhuni to save a blacksmith's child. Bhagoji Shinde's service of

massaging the arm with ghee and bandaging it continued till Baba's Maha

Samadhi.

EXPERIENCES OF SAI.BA.NI.SA WITH SHIRDI SAI

Sai Sat charitra highlights that all saints are spiritually one. They

organize the events to take place and have extra communication links

amongst themselves although they are physically apart by large

distances. Each one has knowledge about the other fellow saints and

their doings. They do every thing under the instructions of the Lord

i.e. God for the benefit of society.

I was watching TV program on great saint of southern India --

Sri.Raghavendra swami on 16th of Sept 1993. lt is said that all saints

are born as messengers of the lord. They arrive on this earth with

some specific mission and attain Maha Samadhi after completion of the

assigned task. The saints are instrumental in loading their devotees

on the path of righteousness and spiritually guided them for Atma

sakshatkara i.e. self-realization. While watching TV, a funny idea

swept through my mind and I desired that either Sai's photograph

should appear or some connected message should be telecast before this

particular coverage comes to an end. This particular desire may appear

to be ridiculous but in the inner consciousness I was eager to look

for Sainath and also simultaneously test my faith. I took to wait and

my eyes glued to the TV screen. The program came to an end and I was

disappointed terribly. Then followed the Regional News item in Telugu.

I blamed myself for the cranky wish and the end result. Half-heartedly

I listened to the News. The first item of the News was the coverage of

Lorry strike in the state of Andhra Pradesh and the resulting

inconvenience to the common public.

A row of Lorries was shown and one such in the row was shown in close

up with letters boldly written "SHIRDI SAI BABA LORRY SERVICE" and

photograph of SAI in blessing posture. I shouted with ecstasy and my

joy knew no bounds and Sai has proven that nothing is impossible if

approached with sincerity and faith. The master can fulfill every

desire and one has to patiently wait for things to happen. I leave it

for readers to gauge my new found happiness.

BOW TO SAI - PEACE TO ALL

4. SAI IN DREAMS:

http://www.ebeacon.indiainabook.com/

These are the dream sequences and messages as received

by SAIBANISA From our beloved GURU LORD SAINATH OF

SHIRIDI. In Anticipation that this feature will help

in one's spiritual growth are hereby compiled from

his personal Diary and presented to SAIBANDHUS.

Translated and presented by RAGHU RAMAN SATULURY.

01-2-1994

Yesterday, my mind was disturbed with the office happenings. I watched

like a mute spectator to the truth being throttled. Before retiring to

bed, I asked Sai if there was any way out of the present situation.

But I got the greatest relief when Baba said-

"Do not mind about goings around. I shall protect my devotees in the

same way a mother does to her children". Incidentally regular Parayana

also indicated the same direction further increased my faith in Baba.

Complete surrender ensures protection.

02-02-1994

I came across persons harmed me the maximum. I prayed Sai to indicate

ways and means to forget them. Baba said-

Even Sun could not escape from the being eclipsed, but he never

stopped every day's ritual of Sunrise to deliver the universal light.

"When we can afford to conveniently forget those who helped us, why

not those who harmed us?

Learn to treat some incidents as pass through events.

07-02-1994

I spent the day offering prayer to Baba and before going to bed, I

requested HIM to bless me with an opportunity to serve HIM and the

cause. Baba has shown me with a visual-

A dog takes good care of the master till he attains old age. On a

fine day, the destined end came to the dog. The master duly performed

the last rites with all the devotion and sincerity.

Since then I developed an inner feeling that I should emulate the role

of the dog in service of my master.

Selfless service is the only gateway to the master.

08-02-1994

Today I asked Sai to tell me the good deeds I should undertake. Sai said-

Take care of your mother in her last days as a true son. That will be

the only way to clear off the indebtedness.

Clear off all the dues towards friends and relatives.

Avoid excessive attachment towards women.

A determination not to repeat a bad deed is as good as doing the right.

Practice good moral and social values for the growth of a healthy society.

5. QUINTESSENCE OF SRI SAIBABA'S PHILOSOPHY:

(By Late Sri Bharam UmamaheswaraRao)

"Shashi": shashi_31

19. National Harmony through Religion

National integration is one of the vexing problems of India. We do not

feel drawn towards each other in the same way as we feel drawn

together within a family circle. Differences of Creed, Community,

religion, language and region are spreading in our country. If the

country is to progress, it is necessary that these differences should

go for the good of the nation.

National integration can be achieved if we follow these things:

1. Faith bridges people:

In the mental horizon, religion must try to give an intelligent

meaning to our religious beliefs and convictions.

2. Emotions and feelings:

When we move to the psychological field, it is well to remember that

religion does not mean beliefs and convictions. It deeply involves

man's emotions and feelings.

3. Social Field:

There is no distinction of race, religion, language or sex. It is the

business of the elders and representatives of India to convert this

declaration into reality.

4. Economic Field:

If religion is to be become a unifying factor, it is necessary that it

should enable every person to live a life of productivity.

5. Moral edification:

No religion is worth of man's respect which does not enable its

followers to live the highest moral life. Religious and moral values

should go together hand in hand.

6. Spiritual field:

A man who has caught the real spirit of religion will feel that God

is supreme. Heat and cold are matters of indifference to him.

AKHILANDAKOTI , BRAHMANDA NAAYAKA, RAAJAADHI RAAJA, YOGIRAJA,

Sai In Ramayan: By Sri SAIBANISA Gopal Rao Ravada

Sri Ganeshaya Namaha. Sri Saraswatye Namaha. Samartha Sadguru

Sainathaye Namaha.

In Sai Sat Charitra Baba says, " you need not go anywhere in search of

Me. Barring your name and form , there exists in you, as well as in

all beings, a sense of being or consciousness of existence. That is

Myself. Knowing this you see me inside yourself as well as in all

human beings. He who sees me in all creatures is my beloved". Baba is

there in every soul, so I convey my pranams to everybody here.

Nowadays all Sai devotees greet each other as "Sai Ram". What is the

greatness of Sairam? Sai is indeed Ram. My object is to prove that Sai

is Ram and Ram is Sai by projecting similar incidents from Ramayana

and Sai Sat charitra. You must be aware that Ramayana contains, Bala

Kandam, Ayodhya kandam, Aaranya kandam, Kishkinta kandam, Sundara

kandam and Yudha kandam, I am taking few incidents from all this to

bring out the similarity between Ram and Sai.

Hemadpant has said, "When I read Ramayana, I could see Sai in Ramayana

and when I read Bhagavatam I again could see Sai in Bhagavatam". To

test this I started reading Bhagavatam and I also found Sai in

Bhagavatam. And I found Sai in Ramayan also. That is the reason for

the discourse today. I will give you relevant examples which will help

you conclude that Sai is Ram.

One day, to the Dhulia Commission officer at Shirdi, Baba disclosed

his age as lakhs of years which means, for lakhs of years Baba was

Ram. It must be true as Sai was a realized soul and an ageless

chiranjeevi like Ram. So this proves to us that Baba and Ram are one

and the same and both are beyond death and mortality.

Where Ram is there Hanuman is.

Where ever Ram is you can find Hanuman around. Ram and Hanuman are

inseparable. Hanuman will be ahead of Ram to greet Ram on his arrival.

And wherever Ram nama is heard, Hanuman is sure be around.

Similarly, at Shirdi, there is a Maruthi Mandir besides Dwarakamayi,

where Shirdi Sai Baba lived. Here also Hanuman was ahead of Baba to

greet and receive His master on His arrival to Dwarakamayi. We should

feel happy that Shirdi is also Ayodhya for us as we have Hanuman and

Ram in the form of Sai.

SANATANA DHARMA –NEWS FROM ABROAD:

Shiv Shakti Mandhir—Solferino-Vacoas-Mauritius

The region of Candos to Visitation which includes the localities of

Paillote, Carreau Laliane, Clairfonds, Modern, Vignta, Solferino and

Camp Pave comprises of over 5000 Hindu Families. There was no temple

in that region. Residents had to go either to La Caverne or to Bassin

Road for usual prayers and ceremonies. The need for a temple in the

locality was even more felt particularly in important festivals such

as the Maha Shivaratree. It was the wish of one and all that a temple

be constructed in that region.

Late Mr. Sookdeo Issur, donated a portion of land of 35 perches

situated at Solferino No 5, Vacoas for the purpose of constructing the

Shivalaya, which would be fully functional and should cater for the

spiritual needs of the Hindu residents.

The project was therefore initiated to realize that dream. An

association was founded in November 1991: "The Shiv Shakti Sangh".

Here begins an endeavoring project which has concretized in the

building of the Shiv Shakti Mandir today. The association has to date

30 Founder members and 110 life members.

The laying of the foundation stone ceremony was held on the 15th

January 1992. The construction of the Shivalay itself began in August

1992. By membership contributions, loans and donations from various

people, the project was duly completed and now the shivalay is fully

constructed with 8 moorthis - Santoshi Maa, Shiva Parvathi, Ganesha,

Karthikeya, Durga Maa, Vishnu, Nandi Devta, Ram Parivaar, Radha

Krishna, Shiv Lingum and Hanuman.

Various activities are organized each year among which are the Srimad

Bhaghwat Katha, Ram Katha, Durga Pooja, Maha Shivaratree and

ceremonies for every Hindu festival.

Recently the shivalay just had a new Moorthi Staphan ceremony for a

new Shivling. The new Shivling is the same in size as the one at Grand

Bassin.

Elephant Climbs to Batu Caves as Part of Temple Rededication

thestar.com.my

KUALA LUMPUR, INDIA, November 11, 2005: In a rare scene, an elephant

guided by a mahout climbed the 273 steps of Batu Caves to take part in

the Uthama Patcha (Grand Prayers) consecration ceremony being carried

out at the Sri Subramaniar Swamy Temple at the hilltop. Chief priest

Ravinatha Gurukkal said the elephant was taken there to perform the

special prayer for Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles. "The

elephant is also the vahanam (vehicle) for Lord Ganesha," he said,

adding that this was the first time in Malaysia that an elephant

climbed Batu Caves. Ravinatha said five elephants were brought from

Thailand to undertake the arduous climb but four of them were brought

back down after climbing 30 steps as the accompanying devotees became

scared. "About 1,000 devotees who were at the temple cheered as the

elephant was brought before Lord Ganesha for the one-hour prayer," he

added. Temple chairman R. Nadarajah said more than 50,000 devotees

from throughout the country were expected to attend the Maha

Kumbaabhishegam ceremony on Sunday.

Saraswati Devi Mandir Opens in The Hague, Holland

www.stabroeknews.com

THE HAGUE, HOLLAND, October 29, 2005: The Hague Front Saraswati Devi

Mandir was recently declared open by Pandit Yoganand Ramnarain of

Queens, New York. Construction of the temple complex commenced almost

three years ago mostly from numerous fund-raising activities and funds

donated by devotees, mandirs and businesses of the New York area. A

press release from the USA Trustee of the Hague Front Saraswati Devi

Mandir stated that over 75 percent of funds came from overseas

sources, while locally the members were able to generate the remaining

25 percent from fund-raising efforts, businesses and devotees living

in Guyana. This was spearheaded by the USA Trustee Anil Deon Bedasie

who is a former resident of Hague Village. The entire mandir complex

was designed by Bedasie who consulted numerous pandits swamis and

other specialists with experience in temple building from the USA,

Guyana, Trinidad and South India. The main deity of the mandir is

Goddess Saraswati, who, according to Sanataan Dharma is the Goddess of

learning, intelligence, wisdom and creative arts in particular of

poetry and music, learning and science. As education plays an

important role in young devotees, it is Bedasie's wish that students

can visit the mandir to receive the blessings of Goddess Saraswati

before taking school examinations.

7. SAIBANISA OFFERS PRANAMS TO SAGE "Bharadwaja''

In Hinduism, Bharadwaja was one of the great sages (rishi) who lived

in ancient India.

Regarding his early life it is said that the Marudwaja gods found him

abandoned as a baby. Looking at the plight of the baby and the

radiance which shone from his face, they adopted the him. Young

Bharadwaja was characterized by an insatiable desire to learn. He

spent all his time on understanding the Vedas. The Marudwaja gods

taught him all they knew about the Vedas but Bharadwaja wanted to

learn more. So he was asked to meditate upon Indra.

It is said that Bharadwaja performed rigorous penance for years, his

body became weak and after sometime he found it impossible to even

sit. The Marut gods were filled with pity for Bharadwaja. One day as

Bharadwaja fell down meditating, Indra appeared. Bharadwaja was filled

with joy. Indra the king of gods asked Bharadwaja on what he would do

if he was given a longer life. To this Bharadwaja replied that he

would still meditate and learn more about the Vedas

Indra told Bharadwaja that this was his third life and he had already

worn out himself in the previous two lifes understanding the Vedas.

Indra then materialized three mountains, and took three handfuls of

soil from the mountains and showed it to Bharadwaja. He said, the

three Vedas are like the three mountains, what you have learnt is

equivalent of these three handfuls, but that does not mean it is

small, you have already gained more knowledge than the gods. Indra

told Bharadwaja that Vedic knowledge is endless, and just as gaining

knowledge is important, spreading it among the people is also very

important.

>From that day onwards, Bharadwaja decided that spreading the Vedic

knowledge among people, freeing the society from poverty, disease and

war as his life's objectives. He traveled far and wide and took many

virtuous kings as his disciples. Prominent among them being

Abhayavarti and Divodasa. He helped the virtuous kings in times of

peril, using his supreme knowledge and the help of the gods.

With the help of Bharadwaja, a long period of peace was achieved,

where people prospered both in the physical sense and the spiritual

sense. Bharadwaja was also the adopted son of the king Bharata. Though

he could have taken over the vast kingdom of Bharata (the son of

Dushyanta and Shakuntala), the great sage Bharadwaja had no interest

in worldly affairs. With his advice, Bharata carried out a yagna

through which he got a son and so the line which had great warriors

before and after that was continued.

Bharadwaja married Susheela and had a son called Garga, who was well

versed in the Vedas and the Upanishads. It is said that when

Bharadwaja's time in this world came to an end, The celestial gods

showered flowers on the couple and Indra came on his divine chariot,

offered his respect to this great personality and took them to heaven.

Bharadwaja is one of the seven rishis of this manvantara. A number of

yugas make a manvantara, and each manvantara has a set of seven rishis

who help in preserving and propagating knowledge in that manvantara.

For the present manvantara called the vaivasvata manvantara,

Bharadwaja is one of the seven rishis. The other six being Atri,

Jamadagni, Vishwamitra, Vasishta, Gauthama and Kashyapa.

8. DEVOTEES EXPERIENCES:

>From the files of Saidarbar:

October 7, 1999

Dear Baba,

Thanks for your wonderful Darshan in my last night's dream and the

message you gave me in the morning. Baba, you know how happy I am,

after seeing you.

Dear devotees,

I would like to write a dream I had last night. Since Monday this

week, I was very worried about my job thinking the WorldCom/Sprint

merge. As the talk is that there is going to be mass lay off, to the

extent of layoff of whole departments. With disturbed mind, thinking

that I should get some message or vision of Baba, by tomorrow, as

tomorrow is Thursday, I went to sleep. In the middle of the night I

had a dream where I went to a place which is 3-hrs drive from here. I

do not why I went there, because I never thought of going there

anytime. Anyway, there at that place there is big concert and festival

going on. I saw a very big tent and people all standing and sitting

there. I was wondering what is going on here and why I came here. I do

not have either my husband or son with me at that time. I do not know

anyone there. While I was looking around I saw a dice and a chair on

the dice. After a while I saw Satya Sai Baba coming on to the dice

waving his hand. He sat on the chair in his typical gesture of his

hands open and finger pointing to the sky. Like he always does that to

the devotees who go to see him. Which he conveys to us that nothing is

in your hands. Everything is decided up in the lord's world, and

everything is brama, your imagination. Seeing this my joy had no

bounds. I wanted to talk with him. Usually when I see him in dream

either he conveys something to me or I tell him my problems. But last

nights dream, when I wanted to talk with him he disappeared. Even

though I was very happy on one side, the other side I was a little

concerned because he did not give me any message of what is going to

happen other than conveying everything is decided by him.

And in the morning I woke up early, and was watching kid's shows.

While watching TV, a crazy thought came to my mind and thought to

myself that I should get some indication from Baba now. Thinking this

I just doze off on the couch. After a while I suddenly heard the

Mangala Arthi song, OM JAYA JAGADESHA HAREY in the TV. I was so

shocked and wokeup to see whether the VCR is playing. But to my

surprise it was not and it is really from TV. I was filled with

happiness and was watching to see what program it was. It was the Tele

Tubbies kids show where they were showing how Indian festival Diwaali

is celebrated. They are singing bhajans and songs teaching kids how to

do. They showed what sweets are made etc. I guess because it is

Dushera and Diwali season they have this show. But anyhow, I thought

that it Arthi is a good indication and message from Baba, because I

could see, the moment I wished and prayed to Baba. I was happy and

energetic and not am worried at all about anything. I realized that

everything is uncertain here.

Dear devotees, Sorry for the very long message and thought that I

should write it here. This is not to influence any one or anyone's

faiths or believes or thoughts because Baba, does not need propaganda

of any of those. But I am very happy and also it happened on Thursday.

So I am writing it here.

Thanks

A Devotee.

9. SPIRITUAL GEMS FROM SAI SATCHARITRA

swamymain

10/29/2005 09:15:56 -0700

Sai Ram. We are in the chapter on Brahma Jnan and we have been blessed

with a bumper catch of Gems from the depths of this chapter. Let us

continue with this chapter. Sai Ram.

Special Characteristic of Baba

There are many Saints, who leaving their houses, stayin forest, caves

or hermitages and remaining in solitude, try to get liberation or

salvation for themselves. They do not care for other people, and are

always self-absorbed. Sai Baba was not of such a type.

Sai Ram. Though different Saints have different sadhanas and different

missions, they all have one common goal, namely the welfare of the

society. Even those who remain in solitude benefit the society by

their meditation and by their oneness with the whole universe. It is

not correct to say that they do not care for other people. Yes, they

are self-absorbed, i.e. they are doing intense sadhana to purify their

self's before they take up helping the other souls. SaiBaba also spent

many years in solitude (let us recollect Chapter 4 - Khandoba said -

"This lad practiced penance here for 12 years.") and since He has

become perfect, He undertook the uplifting of His disciples. In this

respect, He is like Lord Buddha, who after obtaining enlightenment,

stayed back to help all other souls to obtain the same bliss that He

attained. Sai Ram.

"He had no home, no wife, no progency, nor any relations, near or

distant."

Sai Ram. The whole world was His home, all disciples are His children

and all relations.

"Still, He lived in the world (society). He begged His bread from four

or five houses, always lived at the foot of the (Neem) tree, carried

on wordly dealings, and taught all the people how to act and behave in

this world. Rare are the Sadhus and Saints who, after attaining

God-vision, strive for the welfare of the people. Sai Baba was the

foremost of these and, therefore, says Hemadpant.

"Blessed is the country, blessed is the family, and blessed are the

chaste parents where This extraordinary, transcendent, precious and

pure jewel (Sai Baba) was born."

Sai Ram. Yes, Sai is indeed a rare jewel and we all are truly blessed

to be reading His Satcharita and thus enjoying the nectar of His

leelas. These Spiritual Gems are tastier than Cadbury's gems! And are

more valuable than the gems and other precious stones. These should be

carefully hoarded in our heart. Sai Ram.

We will take up the next chapter of Sai Satcharita in the next issue.

Sai Ram.

10. SAI WITH CHILDREN:

http://www.saidarbar.org/HTML/portraits/7.jpg

Smt. Madhu Gopal Ravada, Saidarbar, Hyderabad.

Hello Children! I am Madhu aunty. Do you know Baba use to play with

children and used to tell stories to them? I felt children visiting

Saidarbar should be entertained with good stories. For the last 2

years I have told you about Lord Krishna's Leelas and Lord Rama Story.

Now I want to tell the stories what heard in my child hood.

TRUE SUPERIORITY:

Once there was a king named Mallik. He was a very brave, kind and

powerful king. He was loved by his subjects and also by his courtiers.

One day a thought came to the mind of the King, "Am I really so great

that there is no defect in me? How should I find it out?Do my

people praise me because they could not criticize me at my face? The

truth can be known when one hears the true opinion of the people. This

can happen only if I am not recognized. People will not afraid to give

their true opinion." The King called his charioteer. He told him that

he wanted to go on a tour, he would take only the charioteer with him.

The king, with his charioteer, traveled far and wide in his kingdom.

Wherever he went, he asked the people what they felt about their King

Mallik? Everywhere people, without knowing that they were talking to

the king himself, praised King Mallik as great and noble king. One day

while he was traveling, his chariot came to a narrow bridge. Only one

chariot could move over it at one time. Now, the usual practice of

those days was that a lower ranking gave the way to a higher ranking

man. Just when King Mallik's chariot reached one end of the bridge,

another chariot came to the other end of the bridge which had to come

this side. Who was to cross first? The charioteer from this side said,

"My friend, le me cross first. The great King Mallik is in my

chariot." The other charioteer replied, "If your master is a great

king, then my master, the great King Brahmadatta of Kashi is greater.

It is you who will have to make way for him."

What was to be done? Then one of the kings suggested that since both

of them were kings, their superiority could be decided on the basis of

age and the size of their kingdoms. Most surprisingly, it turned out

that both the kings were equal in age and the size of their kingdoms.

How to decide who was superior? Both the kings started thinking. After

much thought King Brahmadatta said, "The greatness of a person is

determined by his qualities. You tell me about your qualities to prove

your greatness." King Mallik proudly spoke, "I reciprocate goodness

with goodness and wrong with wrong." King Brahmadatta said, "If these

are your qualities, you cannot be bigger defect in the world than

this." King Mallik was shocked, He said, "Maharaj Brahmadatta, what do

you say? Well, then, come out with your qualities. King Brahmadatta

said, "Listen, O King Mallik, I repay wrong with goodness. Those who

harm me, I help even those persons."

When King Mallik heard these words, he bowed his head before

Brahmadatta. He acknowledged with his whole heart that King

Brahmadatta was indeed greater than he was. He still had many

weaknesses which needed to be removed. Thus realization ultimately

came to King Mallik that there were greater persons then he was. All

his pride vanished.

IS SHIRDI SAI BABA A MORTAL??

In the 108 Glorious Names of Sri Sainath Prabhu, we come across

"AMARTHYAYA NAMAHA" ---- immortal,

"KALATEETAYA NAMAHA" ----beyond limitations of time,

"KALAYA NAMAHA"-----Himself Time,

"KALAKAALAYA NAMAHA" -----Lord of Eternity.

When we worship Sai attributing the above qualities, there should not

be any doubt about His continued Presence or Existence. Baba declared

"I'm not the body or the senses. I'm Sakshi(witness)." In His words

"I'm not confined within this body of three and a half cubits heights,

I'm everywhere." Sainath though left His mortal coils on 15th,

October, 1918; He continues to remain in His subtle form (Sukshma

sarira) with the option of taking stable or visible form at will i.e.

.., Aparantaratma. Baba assured prior to His MahaSamadhi "My bones in

My tomb will give you hope and confidence. Not only Myself but My tomb

will be speaking, moving and communicating with those who would

surrender whole heartedly to Me. You will hear My bones speaking and

discussing your welfare." (SSS Chap 25).Let us realise why Sainath

Prabhu declared "I shall be ever active and vigorous even after

leaving this earthly body.Who is this me?" in His words "Barring

your name and form, their exists in you as well as in all beings a

sense of Being or consciousness of Existence. That is Myself." In the

same chapters Sai is defined "This pure being, Consciousness or

Brahma, the ruler and controller of the senses and mind is the thing

Sai...He pervades all animate and inanimate things and their Inner

controller and ruler."

Immediately after giving up this body, Baba appeared in the dream of

Lakshman Mama Joshi and said "Get up soon, Babusaheb thinks I'm dead

and so he won't come, you do the worship and Kakada Aarathi." IN this

way Baba got maintained the continuity of daily pujas and arathis as

usual. He appeared in the dream of DasGanu Maharaj on 16/10/1918 at

Pandarpur and informed that the Dwarakamai collapsed and he should His

body with ample flowers. Mrs. Pradhan and Pradhan's sister in law had

dream visions and instructions. There are many more such instances.

Let us note the matured and authoritative opinion of HH Sivananda

Swamiji as seen in his foreword to 'Life of Sai Baba' by HH BV

Narasimha Swamiji "As such, He is in a state of oneness with God and

does even after casting aside the outer physical form. Sri Sai Baba

continues His sublime work of Lokahita in an invisible form through

His abode of Shirdi." This confirms Baba is immortal, birthless and

deathless.

Please repeat "Victory to thee, O Immortal Saint of Shirdi"

OM SAI SRI SAI JAYA JAYA SAI

D.Sankaraiah.

16. EDITORIAL.

Things impressed me from this Magazine:

The wise man will engage in charities for a better rebirth. A fool

will avoid charities thinking that he may become pauper in this birth.

The rich person will always strive to be more richer and in that

process he will lose all the happiness of the life.

The Supreme Reality (Brahman) is both formless and with form,

impersonal and personal, transcendent and imminent. The supreme

reality becomes manifest in various aspects and forms, and is known by

various names.
