Guest guest
Hari Om || Om Manasamartyadaata Shri Aniruddhaya Namaha || Dear Ones, As Sridhar mentioned in his earlier email abt the Sai Satcharitra Exam, more information regarding the same is given here in detail. We have all been reading Shri Sai Satcharitra – written by Shri. Hemadpant, which is a valuable treasure, filled with divine power and thoughts. You would all be wondering – if I say , there are exams on Sai Satcharitra. Sai Satcharitra and Exams…??!! How will this exam be ? What do we achieve with this exam ? These are the few questions we ask in surprise. That’s right, our Sadguru Shri Aniruddha Bapu conducts these exams. This exam is called the Panchasheel Exam. As the name suggests the exam is divided into 5 levels (Panchasheel). Importance of Panchasheel ExamAs the name suggests, Panchasheel means 5 kinds of ethics, principles. This exam enhances 5 different kinds of ethics in a human being (stated by Beloved Bapu). A person who can achieve all 5 ethics at the end of the course is eligible to get the Gold Medal. Hence the exam is very much important as it transforms us into a better human being. The exam certainly makes us understand what kind of personality Sadguru Saibaba is. Moreover, it teaches us the DEVOTION. Seeing the life style, behavior of the people around Sainath, their faith in him, the intensity of their love, their obedience shows us how to proceed on the path of devotion and in turn how to make ourselves feel close to Sai. Duration and Syllabus: The duration of this exam is Two and a Half years. The exam is conducted twice a year (February and August) The first level or Prathama consists of Chapter 1 to 10 The second level or Dwithiya consists of Chapter no 11 to 20 The third level or Thrithiya consists of Chapter 21 to 30 The fourth level or Chaturthi consists of Chapter 31 to 40 However, after clearing 4 exams, at the time ofthe fifth level or Panchami, the schedule is quite tight and syllabus is vast. There are 2 theory papers (100 marks each). One based on last 12 chapters only and the other one is based on the entire Sai Satcharitra. There will be a single question (with 3 options) asked based on the entire Sai Satcharitra. Besides, there are practical classes conducted during the last semester. This proves that Spiritualism is closely associated with different aspects of science. Sai Satcharitra consists of Physics, Mathematics, and Botany etc. Each and every incidence, leela of Sainath is linked to one or the other scientific rule. It’s indeed very much interesting to learn both Spiritualism and modern science together and visualise the same in our day-to-day life. The pattern for the practical exam is exactly like school / college. Also there is an Oral exam. The papers of 100 marks each and consists of 4 questions in the Prathama exam and there forward 3 questions. The duration of the exam is for 3 hours. Quite similar to the school and college exams. Well, don’t get jittery; there is nothing to fear about. Writing the exam is expressing your thoughts and understanding of the teachings of Sai. Eligibility: A person willing to appear for this exam must posses: -1. Devotion, love for HIM and2. Efforts There are no other criteria of age, sex, cast, religion, educational qualification etc. How we need to answer the paper? Remember one thing, what our Sadguru wants each one of us to write in the paper? It’s certainly not big stories but what have I understood/learnt from that particular story carries importance. Reading Sai Satcharitra regularly is by itself a beautiful experience, but appearing for exam is a much beautiful experience. While Studying? It's a wonderful experience reading / studying Sai Satcharitra. One can feel Baba’s grace, his presence around us and in our mind we keep on thinking about our SAGUN SAI, his Leelas, his talk and we bow to him with a gratitude for giving us an opportunity to understand his earlierincarnation. Materialistically speaking, all these exams from Level 1 to Level 5 are free of cost, but in reality for each one of us – it will turnout to be a priceless experience. In return, our beloved Bapu expects nothing but Bhakti and Prem. First of all, Param Pujya Bapu has made one thing very clear, that these exams are NOT TO TEST our knowledge, but to LEARN how to do Bhakti, and how to make maximum progress in this path of Bhakti without using wrong methods and means and wrong beliefs, and how to make our life truly meaningful. Right from day one of preparing for these exams, we will start experiencing the Sadguru tatva, i.e. Sai Tatva, his leelas, behavior and experiences of devotees and non-devotees- all these stories will lead us to the Ultimate empowering and loving form of Sadguru. After the completion of course??.Last but not the least. The after effects of this study certainly bring positive changes in our behavior./attitude. Everybody can feel it. Slowly we learn to control our anger, jealousy, greed etc.(6 ripus). Unknowingly, we learn that our Bapu is holding our finger and making us walk on this DEVAYAN PANTH. Only thing we have to do is to ensure that his finger is never skipped from us. For this constant reading of Sai Satcharitra is essential, even after exams!!!
