Dear Sai family,

 

"Prayer is more powerful than habits, heredity, and natural tendencies. It can

overcome all these. It is more

powerful than the forces that hold the planets in place. Prayer, though it comes

from the heart of an unlearned

child of God, can suspend the laws of the universe, if such be God's will. There

is no other power on earth that

the enemy of souls hates and fears as he does prayer."

The wife of Govinda Rajan was hit by a car in California, USA and has post

traumatic amnesia, fractures in the

neck, right hand shoulder, elbow, wrist, pelvic, right leg and the right eye is

closed. When she opened her eyes

after coma, she could not tell most things due to amnesia. But she said "Baba

Guruji" when she was shown a

picture of Shirdi baba by her husband, which was given to him at the hospital by

Hari and Bharathi of the San

Jose Baba Sangam. Givind ji requests anyone and everyone to please send him

photos or books of Shirdi Sai baba

Yet another child is Vidyanarayana Nanduri, an international graduate student

from Hyderabad, India who had

come to pursue his Master's program in Mathematics at the Kansas State

University for the semester of Spring

semester in the year 2000.

 

On the 17th january of the year 2003, he was diagnosed with Acute Mylogenous

Leukemia, cancer of the bone

marrow, and is currently undergoing treatment at Via Christi Regional Medical

Center, St.Francis Campus,

Wichits, Kansas.

 

On 22nd January he was put on chemotherapy for a week and on Feb. 6th the

doctors decided that he has to undergo

intensive chemotherapy for a period of four to five months, the total cost of

which is estimated to be about USD

225,000. On March 25th, yesterday, a bone marrow biopsy following the second

phase of chemotherapy was

performed The results of the test and the consequent course of treatment will be

decided next week. The Current

situation of Vidya is that a bone marrow transplant is necessary for his

recovery, the cost of which is

estimated to be even higher. The Student Insurance that he has covers the costs

up to 100,000. In order to cover

upon them, and give stregth to
