Guest guest
I will bring it for you There was a Brahmin who regularly studied Bhagavad Gita and lived a very austere life by begging for alms. When he read yoga kshemama vaham aham, he was not able to understand. He understood that the lord will fulfill the needs but it was not possible to understand that he will personally come to fulfill the needs. After a lot of contemplation, he thought this is an interpolation and crossed those lines with his pen. Then he went out for begging but unfortunately no one offered him any thing that day. Each one gave an excuse - death and so on. So the Brahmin returned home dejected because fasting had been imposed on him. In the mean time, a young boy went to his house and knocked on the door. The wife of the Brahmin opened the door to find a young boy carrying a large bag full of cooking items. The boy also had marks of whipping on his back. He said, "your husband is my master and he sent these items. I am sorry I am so slow and got beaten by him today for that." The wife of the Brahmin thought that there was a mistake because her husband had no disciples. Then when the boy clearly described her husband, she became angry that her husband should be so cruel to beat this boy. She cooked him food and also gave him medicines. When her husband came, she started yelling at him. The Brahmin surprised that his chaste wife is yelling at him like this. She never spoke like this and he could not understand whatever story she was telling. He ate the wonderful prasadam and then started reading the gita. The red ink on yoga kshemam vaham aham was gone.
