Guest guest
Pranams to Saibandhus, On the fateful Sunday, South – East Asian countries along the coastline have woken up to face the worst ever fury of the Mother Nature – Tsunami. As reports are continuing to pour in, the loss of Human life and the property is colossal, rendering many homeless with all the uncertainties around. After shocks are still continuing. Was is that God's way of showing anger? Or was it due to the exploitation of natural resources by man there by creating unbalances and corrective action in that process? Or was it due to man becoming more materialistically oriented with self and greed kept on the highest pedestal without any moral values. Whatever may be the reason, it is once again proved beyond doubt that God is supreme command and controller. Nothing happens without HIS knowledge. The damage associated with the panchabootha's (Sky, Air, Fire, Water and Earth) fury can go to any extent – often unimaginable. Perhaps this was one way of `Pralaya', the word we are familiar with from our mythological books. When we ponder and think philosophically, the realization comes to the mind that damage cannot be undone. At the best, resort to God. Saibanisa and Saidarbar team share the grief and miseries of all those effected lot in this natural calamity and hope for early restoration of normalcy in the effected regions. Saidarbar earnestly prays the almighty to show His mercy on all His children and guide for spiritual development. Let us make it a practice to turn towards HIM under all circumstances rather than at times, when we are in deep troubles. May I appeal to all our Saibandhus to join us in praying the almighty: for non-recurrence of such incidents and for those less fortunate people who lost their lives, and lastly those of them surviving – who lost everything in the process – Tsunami-2004. May God grant them the courage to face the life after disaster struck. May Lord Sainath bless all. -RaghuRaman Satulury – Editor "The Glory of Shirdi Sai".
