One Joshi lived at Thane. His neighbour and other

friends planned to go to Shirdi but Joshi could not

manage to join them. He was much displeased with Baba

and made the resolve that unless and until Baba

himself came to his place, he would never go to

Shirdi. Baba made a note of his devotee's resolve and

decided to remove the displeasure of his ardent

devotee. A Bombay admirer of Baba had come to see him.

He asked him to give his photo and a small packet of

holy ash to the person who would request him to give a

little space in the train on his way to Bombay. If

nobody turned up he should keep those things with him,

but somebody is sure to come, said Baba. The admirer

was not accosted by anybody till the train reached

Kalyan. The train stopped at Thana and when it was

about to leave the station, one person hastily

entrained and found that no seat was vacant. But he

requested this Baba's admirer to move a little and

give him a little space, because he was feeling giddy.

Baba's photo and the holy ash were given to him. This

person was no other than that Joshi himself of Thana

whom Baba wanted to favour. In the conversation both

of them wondered at Baba's doings and tears began to

flew from their eyes.
