Guest guest
Sairam brothers and sisters, Many of you have forwarded the questionnaire with your views and on behalf of the Ph D student I am grateful and my humble sai pranams to each one of you. I am taking the liberty of shortly forwarding one more questionnaire of one more student, who has been asked by Swami to do a project on Forex related with Reserve Bank of India. Ofcourse this questionnaire will be open only to the Indian Community, because of the scope of the thesis to be prepared. It has been more than one month that I am doing service at the College Boys Hostel at Brindavan Bangalore. The Warden asked me how I liked the seva part, and I told him that interacting with the students, I have commenced my own Ph D. However I have been deeply thinking and introspecting on the statement that I had made to the warden, and as each day go by, I now find that infact I have just started my primary education at the ripe age of 58 years. Infront of the gems of these wonderful students, I find that my so called wisdom is only second and behind and there is a lot that I can learn here. I had never felt like this ever and it is my fortune that Swamy has given me a chance to serve at this location. What is most important is that it is impossible to tell, who is the student and who is the teacher, because most look and behave alike. The type of warmth, friendship and care that you see here, is not available in the external world. Sathyasai institution is really a wonder of the world and unless you taste it yourself, no amount of words would adquately describe what you learn and see here. There are so many heroes in Swami's fold, each one a mighty giant in his own way. Today let me share with you the profile of one such Hero today. Having completed MBA, this hero was waiting for Swami to show him the path. Late one evening Swami sent word to him and said that he must immediately leave for Mumbai to take Vibhuti (sacred ash created by Swami), to an ailing devotee at Mumbai. He asked him, to catch the night flight immediately, deliver the Vibhuti and return by the first flight in the morning. Our hero did exactly that. He delivered the Vibhuti at Mumbai, stayed with the family the whole night, assuring and encouraging them that the patient would come out of his problem very soon, and took leave to Bangalore back. Everyone forgot about this event. But not our beloved Swami. The art of edifying - one must learn from Swami. In one of the discourses, Swami I believe told the audience that He has a better hero than the mighty Hanuman of Ramayana. Swami said that Rama only instructed Hanuman to search for Sita but Hanuman on his own burnt Lanka, without informing Rama and taking Permission. But Swami said, that his Institution Student did exactly as told by Him, and did not even visit his own Home which happened to be on the same street as the patient for whom Swami had created Vibuti(sacred ash). The student did not visit his mother and father inspite of being on the same street, and returned to Bangalore as instructed by Swami. Such was the dedication of the student to Swami's words. Have you ever come across the Lord of the Universe edifying one of His own Students? What was the reward for this MBA graduate? One fine morning after about 10 odd days of the Bombay visit, Swami told the hero to pack up his bags and leave for the USA, to study Hospital Administration for 2 years and come back, so that he can contribute usefully for the Superspeciality hospitals of Swami. This has since been accomplished, and I meet this Hero every single day here, and just the sight of the ex-student lifts my spirit and fills my eyes with blissful tears. I am delighted to share this with each and everyone of my dear brothers and sisters across the globe. I wish to thank you for giving me the opportunity to share this. Sairam and my humble pranams. regards KKV Yasas PS: Today Swami gave the slip even to the No.1 token holders. He started the darshan by starting to move through the students and to everyone's surprise, just went out thereafter, leaving many VIPs and devotees surprised without walking along the center aisle. I received a phone call within 2 hours, to ask me, whether Swami's health is OK, because He must have been tired after this Kodaikanal visit. What a grand center show stage manager our Swami is. He puts up great shows really. Ofcourse during the afternoon darshan, he compensated by sitting nearly an hour enjoying the student Bhajans.
