I am attempting to document where (and when) he made this claim. I haven't been able to find it in Vedabase yet. - Maybe I'm not using the appropriate search terms. - Does anyone have documentation for this statement? At another forum I received one reply saying it is a fabrication and another attributing it to an unrecorded conversation with Ramesvara. Considering that this assertion is widely accepted and is even used to argue for or against various positions, I think it is important to determine whether it is a true quote.
