Guest guest
Is there any direct scriptural evidence(s), where it is intructed that Krishna does not accept foods othern than vegetarian. In the Gita, he says he'll accept certain things but he doesn't say what he wouldn't aceept. A request for scriptural evidence is to be honored with an appropriate response. It is not to be treated as evidence of disobedience to the guru. I would argue that a truly sincere disciple would want to know the scriptural basis of his guru's teachings. A disciple who insists on blindly following his guru without attention to scriptural evidence is doing no one a service. When preaching to an opposing party, you cannot convince them of anything unless you have scriptural evidence to back up your preaching. As far as the original question is concerned, you can see some verses condemning the practice of meat-eating in the Gaudiiya verse list in the Bookmarks section. Click on the appropriate link and scroll down to the bottom - all verses are arranged by subject area.
