Revealing this to reporters on Tuesday, Iskcon's Tirupati unit president Swamy Revati Raman Das stated that the Vihara would serve the dual purpose of both imparting spiritual knowledge and provide entertainment to the onlooker. It would be constructed on the lines of Disney Land. Already 15 acre land was acquired for the purpose near Alipiri. The wonders that find mention in the ancient scriptures like Vedic cosmology, Pushpak aircrafts, graphic descriptions of Ramayana and Mahabharata and other details related to the Hindu Sanatan Dharma would be the vihara's highlights. Similarly, work on the Rs 15 crore Radha Govinda Mandiram is going on and it would take at least two more years to complete. The Iskcon is also constructing a Radha Govinda Mandir at a cost of Rs 200 crore at Mayapur in West Bengal, he said.
