Now I am not saying 2+2=1, however, my point was simply that, there should be an body who can research the bhajans and advise on suitability or otherwise. I have just yesterday heard some bhajans at the Ramnavami festival at Bhaktivedanta Manor, UK which would definitely not have been gaudiya approved - one of the which was the "jaya jaya radha madhava haribol....". > > and some of them are in the "Songs of the > > Vaisnava Acaryas" published within ISKCON. > > Incorrect. Last year I bought the book "Further Songs of Vaisnava Acaryas" wherein it is stated that Mirabai's songs are presented in Bengali, instead of their Vrajbhasa dialect, since they were long ago translated by Gaudiya Acaryas! -- Again my point is simply that there should be someone who can advise on the suitability or otherwise. This information should be made available to all temple presidents so that unsuitable bhajans are not sung. Maybe this book was published to satisfy the beginners and maybe bring some laxmi into the temples - but then that technique is questionable?
