Suggestion that essays be posted here

In Digest Number 787 H. Krishna Susharla suggested that the files

on kirtan and guru-tatva be posted here rather than to requesting

individuals only. If that's OK I'll send them here as attached files.

 

[MODERATOR NOTE: In general, if members have files which they wish to share in

the form of essays or other writings, they can consider either posting them for

all to see, mailing them to specific members who explicitly request them, or

uploading them to the Achintya files section. The first and third possibilities

still require that they conform to Achintya rules. I suggest the following

guidelines - if the writings are the form of a text file that can be

copy-cut-pasted and are not too long (maybe < 800 lines?), then post them to

Achintya. If the file is large, formatted for Word, or is something that might

be interesting to access on a regular basis (rather than searching for it in the

archives all the time), then consider uploading it to the Achintya files area.

For example, one devotee wanted to post Mirabai bhajans to the list, but they

were formatted for Word so I asked him instead to upload the files to Achintya

and refer to them that way. Of course, one can always post files and upload them

to Achintya]
