Guest guest
Hare Krishna It is known fact that Madhvacarya was first one to quote the " artho yam brahma sutra " verse from Garuda Purana in praise of Bhagavata in his bhagavata tatparya nirninaya. If it is clearly said that bhagavata is commentary on Vedanta sutra then why don't Madhvas accept it as a natural commentary on VS ? They don't give it high regards like Guadiyas. Why ? Your Servant Always OM TAT SAT Sumeet.

But in theory, Maadhvas have to accept it since their aachaarya has quoted it. That they do not suggests to me an unfortunate tendency to deemphasize the teachings of his that just happen to be in accord with Gaudiiya Vaishnava thinking.
