Guest guest
Hare Krishna Please alow me to chime in here. From what I understood, you are speaking about a Vedic timeline based upon a pure historical perspective. According to Microsoft Encarta, introduction of the Harrapas, in the Indus Valley along the Sarasvati river first appeared in the beginning of civilization (2500 bce). The Pyramids and civilizations emerge in Crete. In ancient western civilization, there tends to be a biased leaning towards Western civilization, preventing the truth about Eastern civilization to be thouroghly known. That is why most western universities have stopped preachng that western civilization are far, far superior to anything else. This, again is based purely an historical reference, and though it may touch upon various sacred scriptures, it fails to go into them at any depth. They tend to leave that mostly to the religious scholars. At a glance, this period gave us Hammurabi's boast, Hittite Kingdoms in Asia Minor, Minoan civilization emeges in Crete, the horse arrives in Egypt, Mew Kingdom in Egypt, Greek language, Mycenaean civilization dominates Greece, Shang Dynasty in China and finally, Aryan, and the Maurya Dynasty in India.
