Guest guest
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare! Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare !! In Kaliyuga, chanting of Maha Mantra at any time and place by any one is recommended as the only way for obtaining love and mercy, according to Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. In our life, there is always a confusion: to do or not to do,similiar to Arjuna 's bewilderment: fight or not to fight. The fighting used to take place from sunrise to sunset. As soon as Arjuna's chariot was placed between two armies,Arjun saw his relatives on the other side of the battlefield, and laid down his armaments. Lord Krishna spoke Bhagavad Gita to Arjuna and removed his doubts. This year, Gita Jayanti is taking place on December 3. Some calanders show as Dec 6. Sun rises in Kurukshetra around 6:30 AM during winter, and allowing another half an hour to 45 minutes time for driving and placement of the chariot in middle of the battlefield , and initial discussion between Arjuna and Lord Krishna, it is safe to predict that Bhagavad Gita was spoken by Lord around 7:15 AM However, since words of Lord are non-different from Him, by chanting Maha Mantra, the Bhagavad Gita appears in form of Maha Mantra every time we chant the holy Names. Hari Bol! Dr Prayag Narayan das Misra According to Rules of Engagements of War, fighting used to take place from Sunrise to Sunset. --- Mitul Patel <mitulp52 wrote: > Hare Krishna all, > > Does anyone know the exact time and date the > Bhagavad Gita was spoken? > > Thank you. > > _______________ > It's fast, it's easy and it's free. Guest guest
hare krsna, the exact date goes back many yugas in time..totally incomprehensible to ordinary sense perception.. the time is more easy to apprehend...the gita is spoken by the Supreme Lord every moment and is represented by the inner voice we all listen to always...once the outer coverings are removed from sense perception you see the glowing light[chaitanya] within directing you towards HIM. the different seasons are HIM and controlled by HIS authorised agents - the respective demi-gods. If you watch the MOONLIGHT every NIGHT you can see the emanations glowing so strikingly you cannot miss HIS soft eye and the soothing rays touching your heart hari bol... dr jayanth g paraki www.chhindia.net --- Mitul Patel <mitulp52 wrote: Hare Krishna all, Does anyone know the exact time and date the Bhagavad Gita was spoken?
