Every human is an incarnation of God, right?

So can one reach enlightenment by worshipping any ordinary person as god/goddess?

Does that only work with Avatars, or certain spiritual advanced persons like ones Guru?

Or does that also work with commpletely ordinary persons?

For instance Indian women in erlier times regarded their husbands as gods, and

then there is also the worship of Devi in form of virginal girls.

Well Sir, your basic premise is flawed. Where did you read that every

human being is an incarnation of God ? And what does the term

incarnation means ? I am very confused, I don't know from where did

you get this idea. Please can you inform me about the source of this

belief.

I will suggest that you read vaishnava commentaries on Gita, Vedanta

and upanisads. It will surely help you in getting rid of any wrong

info like that one above.

Sumeet.

Possibly I should have used the word manifestation.

What exactly is your basis for stating that every human is a

manifestation of God? This has no support in common sense, logic, or

scripture.

For two things to be identical, they must have identical properties.

If the properties of two things are not the same, then the two things

cannot be the same. Surely you can accept this.

Well, God is commonly understood to be omnipresent, all powerful, and

all knowing. These are some basic properties of God which anyone

should agree with. What human being has even one of these properties,

what to speak of all three in "every human?" You would be hard

pressed to prove that every human has the properties of omnipresence,

omnipotence, and omniscience. Why therefore do you equate the human

beings with God?
