Guest guest
If scientists can find evidences of remains of living beings that lived millions of years ago, it's hard to understand why it would be difficult to find something to support the happening of a great war that took place just 5000 yrs ago. I think, maybe, it is possible that the magnitude of destruction was so bad that no shred of evidence remained. in your service, Aravind. Aravind Prabhu, Recently, there was a big made-for-televison production entitled Walking With Cavemen narrated by actor Alec Baldwin. It was said therein, that all of the fossil evidence to date (hominid) can fit in the back of a pickup truck. That is for hundreds of thousands of years and millions and millions of all varieties of hominids. A pickup truck full. Nonetheless, your suggestion that if there was a big battle at Naimisaranya, then there would seem to be some artifacts to support this is not an unreasonable position to take. Still, it presupposes that the victors and accompanying non-combatants (family members, scavengers, and others - what to speak of relic hunters over the last 5,000 years) actually left stuff lying around. In a modern army they sometimes say that the ratio of support personel to combatants may be as high as 10:1. Maybe we should be surprised if we actually found something. But even if we did, we could at best tie it the era only, and not the actual fight. ys, santi
