Dear Devotees,

For those of us who have lived on all six

continents it is not very difficult to see that in not so distant past

the whole world was united. There are stunning architectural similarities

and the fact points to the mother civilization being in a tract of land

southeast of river Indus and Jhelam.

In this example I am not talking about the cradle

of the known world a few centuries ago, it is well established that

greater India extended as far north as the Caspian Sea and King Ashoka's

missionaries spread core sub continental culture all over South and Far

East Asia. These are established facts but what is not established is the

link between the Mayan-Inca Civilization and India. The heart of Mayan

and Inca past civilizations are found in South and Central America and

the architectural links are mind boggling. In the lost and found city of

Machu Picchu in Peru the structures conforms exactly to the design

principles of Vastu Shastras of India as does the mansonry of

Sacsahuyaman in Cuzco. These simply cannot happen by accident and if

architectural digs are the required proof then the fact speaks for

itself.

At the end of this month I am going to Peru and

Bolivia and I intend to do some studies myself. I have heard that Maya

Demon who is a architectural genius is the link and at one time Lake

Titicaca was the garden of the Gods. If I discover something substantial

then I will post it later. All the best, YS Ashokamrita.

A couple of days ago, there was a program on PBS (NOVA) wherein they displayed a

graphic that showed how the current continents emerged from two continents over

a period of time (150 million yrs). In this graphic, India happened to be a

part of a continent that included south america & africa and slowly it moved

towards east and reached its current position. Heres a link that shows this

tectonic animation.

hint about how the earth transforms as the cycles of yugas, manvantaras and

kalpas continue.

May be the tectonic reconstruction theory can explain the reason for these

similarities. But these civizations are not that old to carry the culture. Also

this might be a reason why indians and south americans look similar.-Prasad.

Ashokamrita,

Are you aware of any comparative studies done applying the Vastu

Shastra's architectural guidelines to some of the sites you have indicated?
