Guest guest
Santiparna, I am not aware of any formal comparative studies done by any one between Indian Vastu Shastra and Inca-Mayan construct but I have seen references being made of visiting Indian architects and scholars who have a common consensus of great similarities. One notable exception is V.Ganapati Sthapati, he theorized that original science was actually developed by the Mayans and later it was imported to India. I hold the reverse view, it is the other way around. Vastu Shastra is actually an ancient Indian science linked to and from knowledges of the other worlds. To know that our bodies have magnetic polarities which can be synchronized with the polarities of the planet and enhance our performance is a very deep science. This has to have been taught and not discovered by accident. Vastu Shastra is so perfect that it even teaches us how to sleep with the head to the south and legs to the North and be aligned with the natural forces. You might have seen the assertion of Prasad about continental adrift and tectonic reconstruction theory for the existing similarities but I would argue against it for the simple reason that it takes billions of years for continents to separate. I have been traveling around the world constantly for 30 years and I am convinced that only around 5000 years ago the world was united. I am working on verifications that can be presented to a rational scientific community. I will be in Peru and Bolivia later this month. I have great interest in Inca museum of gold, Machu Picchu, Islands of Sun and Moon in lake Titicaca and in Nasca lines. This is a discovery mission and if I come across something substantial I will post. All the best always, Ashokamrita.
