Guest guest Posted July 11, 2003 Report Share Posted July 11, 2003 Here are two "Prabhupada Saids" that I heard on first visiting Mayapur in 1976 and now seek confirmation of. 1) Kali-yuga will become so bad that people will eat their own children, so don't come back: get serious and go back to Godhead in this life. (I believe this is from a lecture but can't now locate it). 2) A devotee asked Srila Prabhupada, "We are distributing books all day every day, constantly talking to nondevotees and taking their association; how then will we be able to remember Krishna at the time of death and go back to Godhead?" To which Srila Prabhupada (purportedly) replied, "If you distribute my books throughout your life then if at the time of death you cannot think of Krishna, Lord Caitanya will forcibly enter your mind and personally bring you back to Godhead." Prabhupada talks there (according to memory how in Kali-yuga men will become cannibalistic. "I eat you and you eat me," as I remember it. The title of the tape is "A Walk Through Kali-yuga."
