Guest guest
Nina in Digest Number 867 asked: > where is this verse from? >From Padma Purana > And also, what does this mean from Jagannatha Puri In the disciplic succession of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura it is explained that all four sampradaya acaryas (Ramanuja, Madhva, Nimbarka, and Visnuswami, as also Caitanya Mahaprabhu and Vallabhacarya) not only visited but had significant realizations at Puri. Apparently the old Visnuswami was previously widespread in Orissa. Puri's importance for Gaudiyas is much magnified by Lord Caitanya's having domiciled there, from where He personally traveled out to preach and despatched others also. It is also not only the birthplace of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura, but very dear to his heart. Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura revealed many mysteries of the inner significance of Purusottama-ksetra.
