Guest guest
>From CC Madhya 6.147: [sCM is speaking]: "The word 'Brahman' indicates the complete Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is Sri Krsna. That is the verdict of all Vedic literature." Earlier in Madhya 6.138: "The Brahma-sutra, compiled by Srila Vyasadeva, is as radiant as the sun. One who tries to interpret its meaning simply covers that sunshine with a cloud." 6.140 (purport): "Brahman means brhattva, the greatest of all. The greatest of all is Sri Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead...Whether one says 'Brahman' or "the Supreme Personality of Godhead," the fact is the same, for they are identical. In BG, Arjuna accepted Krsna as param brahma param dhama. Although the living entities or material nature are sometimes described as Brahman, Parma Brahma--the Supreme, the greatest of all Brahmans--is still Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead." TLC (covering the same portion of CC), page 267: "The word Brahman means 'the greatest,' and when we speak of the greatest we immediately refer to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the source of all emanations. Unless the greatest possesses six opulences in full, he cannot be called the greatest. The greatest, who is full in six opulences, is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. In other words, the Supreme Brahman is the Supreme Personality of Godhead as well...The conceptions of the impersonal Brahman and the localized Supersoul are contained within the understanding of the Supreme Personality of Godhead."
