1. In Bhakthi Sandarbha Srila Jiva Goswami when talking about the various

processes of devotional service writes that there are actually two types- One

of Prapatti & one of Bhakthi( with the nine processes). One more thing he says

is that atma nivedanam is not the same as saranagati or prapatti. Then he goes

on to explain how vaidhi Bhakthi consisting of the nine processes leads to

raganuga bhakthi. But where does prapatti lead one to? ( I will try & revert

with exact anuchedas)

2. In S.B 3.25.25 purport Srila Prabhupada writes this-

"The process of advancing in Krsna consciousness and devotional service is described here."

How are the two different?

3. Recently I was on a temple visit to Kerala. The temple worship goes on in a

very very sincere fashion in this state. One thing I saw is that, though lots

of demigod worship too goes on here, there are many who think that finally

Krishna & the demi-gods are the same & there are others who have exclusive

devotion to Krishna or Narayana. Sripada Ramanuja attempted to bring the

pancaratra system in Thiru Ananathapuram(A temple glorified by one of the

azhwars), but was shifted from there to Kerala border as the Lord wished that

the worship should be performed by the Tulus & Namboodris( Similar to the

pastime in Puri). Also, a lot of divine experiences surround temple worship in

this part of India.

My question is this- What happens to such devotees as they do not belong

to any of the chatur sampradayas while it is also said that it is essential

that one attaches oneself to one of the sampradayas?

Thanks

Narasimhan
