Guest guest Posted August 24, 2003 Report Share Posted August 24, 2003 Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura writes in his commentary on Caitanya-bhagavata (Adi 17.55), that the only persons who can surrender unto the lotus feet of a bonafide spiritual master are those for whom this maxim is prominent within their hearts: sa-jatiyasaye snigdhe sadhau sangah svato vare 'One should associate with like-minded devotees who are more advanced in love for the Lord.'
