Guest guest
(below is an extract from a recent letter to me, and an extract from my reply) > If you or anyone else could clearly list the deviations you refer to > above in a cold and clinical way free from hype and emotion... ....in Vaisnava tradition, philosophy was never separated from what X Prabhu has referred to as hype and emotion. Philosophy is inseperable from ontology, which for Vaisnavas is rasamaya -- felt, experienced, and cherished, not simply analyzed. Vaisnavas therefore emulate Lord Krishna's statements in Gita by employing "hype and emotion" to denounce the position of those impersonalists and other dry scholars who want to make philosophy, and hence everything else, cold and clinical.
