Guest guest Posted November 23, 2003 Report Share Posted November 23, 2003 It is my understanding that ultimately philosophy is useless - even the knowledge that Krishna is God as in the case of Vrindavan residents - their devotion is based on spontaneous loving service without the understanding that Krishna is the Supreme Personality - these pure devotees are attracted to Krishna irrespective of Krishna's position. But, Sumeet prabhu (in a discussion we had) pointed out that by nature the soul is full of knowledge and that it's service to Krishna is based on the understanding that Krishna is the Supreme Person.
