Guest guest
Dear Vaishnavas, Hare Krishna Please accept my humble obeisances All Glories to Srila Prabhupada A small group of us here in Singapore are intending to deeply delve into the study of Srila Prabhupada's Bhagavad Gita As It Is. We are looking for a suitable study guide to help us understand the literature in a systematic manner. We have come across many guides written by many devotees. Please recommend one that is most apt with a good guiding framework that can very cogently synthesise and present all relevant points of the Gita, and trigger further probing and discussion. We would also be grateful if you could let us know how we may obtain the recommended guide. Thanking all of you in advance, your servant r. jai simman singapore

But I have two which I believe are helpful. One is the book _Surrender Unto Me_ written by Bhurijana dasa. I read it alongside BG As It Is. However, sometimes I find it clarifies what Prabhupada wrote while at other times I found that it adds (in a good way) to what he wrote. Another book I can recommend (not sure if it is still in print) is the Bhakti-Sastri Study Guide written by Atma-Tattva dasa. This book contains chapter by chapter questions to review material from Bhagavad-Gita, Isopanisad, and other books. It's pretty straightforward, and serves to reinforce what you read from the text. Good luck. Studying BG As It Is in depth is a grand undertaking, but one that can be done practically. I hope your effort is successful.
