Also, does Sankaracarya interprets the word rudra/shiva as refering to Lord

Shiva and hence calling him Supreme Deity taught in Svetasvatara upanisad.

In fact Shankaracharya does not comment on the word Rudra in his Svetasvatara

Upanisad (although this is a perfect opportunity to do so.) This is in

contrast to his commenting on the word Isvara in the Bhagavadgita as referring

to Lord Vishnu.

Without looking in the said commentaries, it's already a fact that--like the

names Sambhu, Isana, Sthanu, Yogi, Kala, Mahadeva, and more--both Rudra and Siva

are names of Lord Vishnu.

You mean that Sankracarya is silent on equating Rudra/Shiva in those

verses to Lord Shiva. Just clarifying.

By any chance do you have the commentary of Sankara on those verses ?

I don't have it, but when I did check, there was no specific explanation of the

word Rudra. In context of his identifications of Vishnu elsewhere, I would

suggest that the word suggests Vishnu rather than Shiva.
