Guest guest
Hare Krishna, If anyone knows any quotes regarding meat eating or vegetarianism from scriptures, Bhagavad Gita or Srimad Bhagavatam, please let me know. It will be of immense help if you can provide the sanskrit shloka, word by word meaning and english translation of the same. Also, let me know if you know of any quotes from scriptures of other religions such as Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism, etc. This will be useful when we are trying to preach to people from varying religious backgrounds. Thanks a lot in advance, y/s, Vivek.

Hare Krishna For information regarding Biblical support of vegetarianism, refer to http://www.christianveg.com/ There you can find a lot of information. There is a brief pamphlet available for download, or for detailed information there is also a book that can be downloaded for free. Of course, they would appreciate a donation if you find the book useful. Here's a shortcut to the book: http://www.christianveg.com/goodnews.htm Note that below the picture of the cover are links to download either in HTML or PDF.
