And then Lord Raama says: pashya lakshmaNa vaidehyaa sa.mtyakta.m hriyamaaNayaa | uttariiyam ida.m bhuumau shariiraad bhuuSaNaani cha || 4-6-20 || shaadvalinyaam dhruvam bhuumyaam siitayaa hriyamaaNayaa | utsR^iShTam bhuuSaNaam ida.m tathaa ruupa.m hi dR^ishyate || 4-6-21 || "Lakshmana...see this upper cloth of Vaidehi...let off from her body onto the ground... while being abducted... and these ornaments too..." "Onto the green pastures of the ground, these ornaments are dropped by Seetha... undoubtedly... when being abducted...for these are appearing in their own shape, [without any damage...]" evam uktastu raameNa lakshmaNo vaakyamabraviit | naaha.m jaanaami keyuure naaha.m jaanaami kuNDale || 4-6-22 || nuupure tvabhijaanaami nitya.m paadaabhivandanaat | 4-6-23 | When Rama thus said, Lakshmana said this sentence to him, "Neither do I recognize the armlets nor do I know the earrings, I only recognize the anklets due to my bowing at her feet every day."
